File Description: The PH-PBA, once USAAF '42-100971' as she looked during Operation Market Garden.
She was named 'The Squirrel'. This historical repaint is inspired by 75th commemoration
of the Allied drops into Holland, September 1944. The chalk number '3' depicts her
paradrop mission on Sept. 17th , 1944 into DZ-N south-west of Groesbeek. The PH-PBA still flies today with the DDA Classic Airlines, 75 years onwards.

The USAAF '42-100971' (6E -B) as she looked during Operation Market Garden.
She was named 'The Squirrel'. This historical repaint is inspired by 75th

File Description:
This is a new repaint for an old freeware Aero Commander Shrike - the work of the Milton Shupe Commander Team. I think Paul Sounders is listed as the developer, but several team members contributed lots and lots of hours. This was a native FS2004 model that someone ported over to FSX. The interior evidently did not get the same attention that the flight model and panel received. I asked Tom Tiedman, a fellow flight simmer, to update the interior for my personal taste and he did a great job in a matter of a few hours. You will notice the improvements when compared to the other texture files. You will need the FSX version of the Aero Commander Shrike that is not that easy to find but keep searching. The file I downloaded is ac500sv.zip (freeware). This is nothing fancy at all, just another repaint but a greatly improved interior. Thanks to TomT and I hope you enjoy the repaint.

Simmers,and Baseball fans. This is my 3rd repaint of my in progress MLB collection. All repaints are of "Eric Dantes" Beachcraft Twin Bonanza. All MLB teams will be represented. These repaints are not layered so each one has to be redrawn in its offical colors.All repaints will have two liveries, one with team logos and one without logos. All MLB team names were put in two hats, American League and National League they are drawn one from each hat at random. The next repaint will be the Los Angeles Dodgers.Look for it soon. I hope you have as much fun collecting all 30 liveries as I will have painting them! In the early 1990s before the emergence of alliances British Airways bought a stake in US Air with the goal of improved connections and greater share of the internal US market. As a result of this three of US Air 767-200s were painted in British Airways livery, used the BA call sign "Speedbird" and had US Air crews trained to BA standards for three routes into LGW from BWI, CLT and PHL. Eventually the alliance collapsed and BA formed and alliance with American Airlines who are now ironically trying to merge with US Air's successor US Airways.

The Gimli Glider is the nickname of an Air Canada aircraft that was involved in a notable aviation incident in July 1983. On 23 July, Air Canada Flight 143, a Boeing 767-233 jet, ran out of fuel at an altitude of 41,000 feet (12,500 m) ASL, about halfway through its flight from Montreal to Edmonton via Ottawa. The crew was able to glide the aircraft safely to an emergency landing at Gimli Industrial Park Airport, a former Royal Canadian Air Force base in Gimli, Manitoba. The plane survived and flew for Air Canada until its retirement in 2008
