This is a new GPS instrument approach for Hoonah, Alaska, located in Southeast Alaska, just west of Juneau. It allows a pilot to make an instrument approach to the runway where previously, no such capability existed.

VAC (Visual Approach Chart) for Suisse 2002

File Description:
A set of Visual Approach Chart (VAC) for all airports of Suisse 2002 published until now. Each VAC shows the real airport circuit to make a correct approach and landing. It indicates also the radio frequencies and the approach sectors. What's fun ? the circuit is exactly the real one, but the backgrounds are screenshot from FS2002. Needs Landclass by Ernst Bosshard.

Caribbean World Aeronautical Chart Chunks for FSMap

File Description:
Sectional chart chunks made from the August 2009 Sectional charts at the original scale, formatted in the WGS84 lat/long geographic coordinate system for the FSMap, moving map application for flight simulation use. Coverage is the Bahamas, Cuba, Jamaica, Haiti, the Dominican and the Guadeloupe island areas. The chart chunks are baseline 8bit tiffs with packbit compression applied that are 2750x2480 pixels at about 6.5mb each. Also, included is the FSMap fsm Calibration file for importing. The Caribbean jpegs that were previously uploaded, I lowered the gamma quite a bit due to WAC being too harsh to view on the display. With these tiffs I left them as is, because of the dimming feature in the FSMap gauge, one of the many great features the FSMap package has to offer.

AVSIM 2006 Convention B787 Aircraft

File Description:
This aircraft and texture set is for fun flying. It sports a very unique AVSIM Convention 2006 livery as the specific mascot for the AVSIM Convention in Washington DC in September 2006. Visually a pleasure to fly and has a rather interesting Night Texture effect which should add to your flying pleasure. Be sure to also get the A380 Generic AVSIM Convention aircraft that is available in the AVSIM library. I recommend that you take the opportunity to go to the AVSIM Washington DC Convention as there will be lots of interesting Flight Sim paraphernalia and information available there. FSX Aircraft - Beechcraft Starship Update

File Description:
FSX Aircraft-The Beechcraft Starship version 5.1. Beech was looking for a new generation of corporate transports. They looked to Burt Rutan's Scaled Composites Inc. to design and produce the SCAT1, an 85% scale technology demonstrator of a conard-configured aircraft. Successing in testing led to the Model 2000 Starship 1. The first of 3 flying pre-production Starship 1s flew on Feburary 15, 1986. After flying and statice tests, the first production machine flew on April 25, 1989. Created with FSDS 2.10. This model features reflective textures. This FS9 model has been modified to work in FSX. FSX - Aircraft Beechcraft Beechjet Update

File Description:
FSX Aircraft-The Beechcraft Beechjet 400A version 2. The Beech Aircraft Corporation acquired the Diamond II executive jet from Mitsubishi in December 1985. It was then marketed as the Model 400 Beechjet. The first Beech assembled aircraft rolled out on May 19, 1886. It wasn't until 1989 that the Model 400A was introduced featuring increases in payload and ceiling. This version is visually a model of the 400A Beechjet, my first version was visually that of the Model 400. There are two added features in this version. That's reflective textures and visual thrust reversers. It's a great plane to fly. Model, originally for FS9 has been updated to work in FSX. By John B. Loney, Jr.

File Description:
This package updates my FS9 VTOL gauges, for which I have made various versions for specific aircraft. Like several (Sea)Harriers, V22-Ospreys, a F35-JSF and a Jupiter2 spaceship.
