Puzzle - refuelling a Constellation at Shannon airport. A painting from the 1950's book, "The Wonder Book of Aircraft".

File Description:
In the 1950's there were several British books published under the title of "The Wonder Boook of......" For any boy interested in aircraft the title of the book ended with "Aircraft". Whilst most of the images were B&W, there were several colour-plates included, usually artist's renditions. This evocative painting depicts a night-refuelling scene at Shannon airport. No installation is required; the puzzle runs straight from the file. Readme is included for the simple instructions.

NZAA Afcad2 V2b - "Auckland 2005"

File Description:
AFCAD2 for Auckland International Airport (NZAA) V2b! for use with the auckland2005.zip scenery which uses Shayne Butler's FS2002 airport. SCENERY NOT INCLUDED! This file is a variation of my recent AFCAD for the airport (nzaa_v2a_akl05.zip) This File is for use when Auckland's main runway is under construction and this utilises the standby runway/main taxiway instead. All lights on 23L/5R have been turned off and 23R/5L comes to life!!!. This file includes accurate Gate and Parking Positions, with improved night lighting, two helipads (with night lighting), totally re-done International Terminal {including the four new hard stands recently built} and many many more great enhancements...All taxiways and runways have been created using a real life chart for the airport. This file does not work that well with the default airport and it works better without addon AI traffic, thought it is ok. Tower views are from the roof of the tower. See Readme for further details of what has been enhanced/modified.

KORD-Chicago O'Hare 2018

File Description:
Chicago O'Hare 2018 =================== This airport has been undergoing frequent change ever since I first landed there in 2005. Fortunately, the core buildings have remained essentially the same, but runways have come and some have gone. I got very close to releasing a 2016 version, but held back for more data. Then I looked again this year and discovered another runway gone, new ones in construction etc. So, what I have decided to release is basically as up to date as I can make it, using Google Earth to judge the state of things in March 2018, and Charts from August 18th 2018. A lot of Taxiway labelling has changed yet again, and I dare say I've missed some of the taxi signs. One taxiway isn't on the March image, but is on the chart, so I've added it as best I can. I think this will always be a work in progress.

LIPZ - Venice Tessera Intl. Airport "Marco Polo"

File Description:
Afcad file of LIPZ (Venice Tessera "Marco Polo") airport for FSX default scenery. In order to make the scenery as close as possible to the real airport the layout is based on the newest Jeppesen parking chart of LIPZ, on the Aeronautical Information Publication Italy and on photos of the real airport. Main things that have been changed: - RWY 4L/22R has been converted into main taxiway (as it is in the real LIPZ); - runway strips and stopways have been added; - Precision Approach Path Indicators with 3° slope have been added on both sides of RWY 4R/22L; - according to ICAO documents, since RWY 4R/22L is a precision runway of the 3rd category the holding positions have been moved at 90 m and taxiways and apron links have been reduced to 23, 18 and 15 m; - the approach lighting system has been modified to look as close as possible like the real one; - parking codes have been added to match the latest airport timetable. Note: In real life nearly 100% of the departures from RWY 4R (which is the runway in use during day almost all days of the year - RWY 22L is in use during night when the wind's direction changes) use SIDs based on the CHI VOR which means that even the airlines which fly to north once airborn won't turn left but right and make half circle in order to head north. I tried to make the aircraft fly like the real ones assigning right hand pattern to RWY 4R but seems that it doesn't work - aircraft that fly to north, after takeoff will turn left instead of turning right and making half circle.
