The territory of Belize is located in the southeastern part of the Yucatan peninsula, it is bordered to the north by the Hondo river to the south by the Sarstun river and is crossed by the Belize river. Belize is the second smallest state in Central America after El Salvador . Caracol instead is a Maya archaeological center, certainly the most famous site of the country, about 80 km from San Ignacio, is reached along a very uneven road. 1939 - Imperial Airways "Reserve" Route - England to Australia via Africa Download

File Description:
In June 1939 a survey was carried out for a route between Australia and Great Britain in the event of war cutting the existing path through the Middle and Far East. Cpt. P. G. Taylor proposed a path across the Indian Ocean to Mombasa via Cocos Island, Diego Garcia and the Seychelles. On June 4th. the survey flight departed Port Hedland aboard the PBY-1 "Guba". In a similar fashion, Imperial Airways planned a "Reserve" route from Britain to Mombasa via Lisbon, the Canaries, Bathurst (West Africa) and Lagos. It is not known if this route was used in full or in part. This package includes two flights covering the entire route, one for the Imperial Airways section and the other for the "Guba" survey flight.

Alaskan Gold Mine Airstrips: Yankee Creek 2, Ganes Creek, & Ester Creek Download

File Description:
3 very primative landing strips in Alaska that are all bumpy and/or on a slope. They're just west of McGrath in an area popular with gold hunters. Ganes Creek is surrounded by trees & a little on the short side but otherwise fairly easy. The Yankee Creek 2 strip is longer, but on a 6% slope with a camber at its upper end. Ester Creek is slightly steeper at 9% in gradient, but with a more open approach path. A set of Eddie Denney's mesh of Alaska is required because the airstrips are themselves part of the terrain: the scenery was designed using the FS2002 mesh but the FS2000 version should also work OK. Also requires Gerrish Gray's tree library (trees_v3.zip).

Instructions for building a replacement USB-DB15 Dongle for MS Sidewinder Joysticks Download

File Description:

My neighbor recently gave me a Microsoft SideWinder Precison Pro Joystick. Unfortuately, they had lost the DB15 to USB dongle (photo of dongle on the left)that connected the joystick to the USB port. This zip file contains a word document (.doc) which describes how you can build an equivalent dongle for just a few dollars. A parts list, photos of the completed assembly and a wiring diagram are included. Some elementary skill with a soldering iron is required.

Please note that this replacement will not convert your old joystick into a digital model. It only works with MS Part No X03-57540 and equivalent. However the instructions do list a source for an encoder which proports to do exactly that.
