File Description:
These are 24-bit templates on which to base repaints of the FS2004/FS2002 MAAM-SIM DC-3 available from Mid-Atlantic Air Museum Simulations (MAAM-SIM) at www.maam.org. They cannot be used with the default FS2004 DC-3. This is not a 'paint kit' as such, as the original MAAM-SIM DC-3 bitmaps are partly photoreal. Rather, these are semi-finished templates on which to base further work. This initial package comprises bare metal and white top liveries for the base Passenger and Cargo DC-3 models in different variations, together with revised alpha channel templates. Simple instructions are included. These base textures reflect commonly found "background" configurations for many liveries, and will save repainters time by not having to get rid of the default colour schemes found in the original package before starting work. Please note that further templates will be issued to complement any future versions of the MAAM-SIM model. The intention is that those templates can be added to this base 'paintkit' folder, the methodology and basic instructions being similar for all paints. Where changes to the model invoke changes in texture mapping or other differences, this will be noted with each new package provided. File Description:
On a cold March 2nd, 2000, professional commercial pilot H.G. Schmid took off from Zurich at 11:00 AM local time and so began the first stage of his first of two consecutive circumnavigations of the globe by a light aircraft. This flight was eastwards and on his return to Zurich at the end of the month, Georg took off on the westward circumnavigation. The aircraft used on these adventures was the Rutan-designed "Long-EZ", a variation of the "Vari-EZ". Each day is a separate stage and therefore there is a separate flight for each day, named accordingly. (Some days have two stages). There is a total of nineteen (19) flights. Model of the Rutan is by Olivier Marechal and available from Avsim.com or FlightSim.com. Search for either Olivier's name or the file name, HBYCT_V1.zip. There is also an update, HBYCT_P1.zip.

New AFCADs for the Reunion airports: FMEE (Saint Denis Gillot) and FMEP (Saint Pierre Pierrefonds) for wonderful "La Reunion" payware by FranceVFR. Might be default scenery compatible as well. Not tested in FSX.
The major changes are introduced to FMEP, including correct runway length (2100m) and width (45m), PAPI lights on both runway sides, added new apron B and taxiway B. Now you can land with your Airbus A3xx or Boeing 737 (these types land at FMEP in the real world).
The changes introduced to FMEE include some minor corrections to parking positions and added runway's asphalt edge.
Modifications are based on the Google Earth and AIP France.
