File Description:
FS2004 USAF/MATS Convair CV-240 VBF in colors of 1952. The Convair with cn 264 was one of a bunch of T-29B-CO (CV-240-27) delivered to the U.S. Air Force September 16, 1952 and on July 15, 1953 assigned to the 1299 Transport Squadron of Military Air Transport Service (MATS). She was equipped with standard high density seating for staff transport and painted in the typically MATS livery of the early fifties. On July 13, 1956 she was converted to VC-131A standard and fitted with the weather mapping radar used extensively on the model CV-440 and on many CV-340 models. The last operator of this Convair was the 86th Tactical Fighter Wing based at Stuttgart (Germany). She came to AMARC on May 06, 1975 and was sold off for scrap on November 23, 1994. Continental flew several 757-300 aircraft, but since the merger with United, these aircraft have been repainted with UNITED titles. In real life these 757s have winglets installed, but Project Opensky never released a winglet model of the 757-300, so we will have to pretend they are there. Painted on the great Project Opensky model. Enjoy!

| Herb's field near highway 417 in Ontario Canada |

File Description:
Herb's field is an unlicensed grass strip near a junction and a gas station on highway 417, some twenty miles west of the Ontario/Quebec border. I saw it a while back from the air and forgot about it, then saw it again when I was driving along the highway. Couldn't miss it because of the two red and white checkerboard hangers. So here it is.

Road 7 farm strip is some 15 miles east of Oshawa and 7 miles north of Lake Ontario, and as its name suggests it is next to county road 7. Just one of the hundreds that are waiting to be included into FS; if only there was more time in the day!

exterior model and textures by Manfred Jahn, flight dynamics by Paul
Edwards. The aircraft represented is MW318 of RAF Transport Command as
it appeared in 1948-9. The zip contains a traffic bgl that simulates
York traffic between Manchester and Birmingham in the UK.
