Search and Rescue Convair 440

File Description:
The pilot reported problems a few minutes after he picked up the "Teslin Ndb radio. The only witness pilot reported an aircraft of medium size with two engines trailing smoke and in a fairly good dive and going in a straight path on a northerly heading. See readme for more details.

I am constantly amazed by the high number of simers that restrict their flying activities to small localized areas, never venturing much further than their own backyards. I can't help thinking that these simers miss out on some truly great flying experiences by confining themselves to such limited parameters.
