South America Mesh Scenery, MeshX_C4

File Description:
Mesh terrain scenery for the whole continental South America, based on SRTM 90m dem geotiff files resampled to 76 meter of horizontal resolution (LOD 9). The new files have improved the vertical resolution from 16m to 10m, resulting in more details and accuracy over previous versions. There are 50 files, compatible with FS 9 and FS X, identified in a map by column letter and line number, covering the contiguous countries and states. Boundaries: N = 5º 37.5' S; S = 11º 15' S; E = 56º 15' W; W = 63º 45' W.

Reanimated NATO-Airbase Pferdsfeld, ETSP (near Ramstein, Germany) including AI-Package and Tools. No FSE required.

File Description:
This Nato-Combat-Airbase, located in Central Germany near Ramstein (Rhein / Mosel region), was the homebase of JG73 and JaboG35. The airport has been closed in 1994, was reanimated by Fritz Becker for FS2004 use and I did the rework to make it ready for AI-Traffic. The included AI-Package contains the Dornier Do-28, Fiat G91R, Douglas C-47/DC-6B, McDonnell-Douglas F-4E, Nord-Aviation Noratlas ND2501, North-American T-6, and the Republik F-84F. All aircrafts perform "Touch and Go" in the local traffic pattern per attached flightplan. Note: "Keep the final clear, the Flight Checker is here" (C-47). Lago's FSE is not required this time.

FSX patch for Rio de Janeiro mesh

File Description:
FSX brings as default a very good mesh for Rio de Janeiro City, showing the Sugar Loaf very detailed, in LOD 10. However, that mesh cover a limited area and changes its resolution to LOD 6, yet in a mountainous region. The consequences are visibles cuts in the relief, mainly in Paralel S22* 30'. The solution we found was to compile the neighbours area at North, West and East, in LOD10 resolution changing to LOD 9, so to smooth the transition from those differents resolutions.

Lihue Ocean Fix

File Description:
This fix will take care of the problem in FS2004 where the ocean is running up hill at the end of runway 21 at Lihue, Hawaii. You must have the Lihue Scenery for FS2004 by Bill Melichar installed in order for this fix to work. I do not know if this problem also occurrs in FS2002, but it should also fix it if it does. Tom Stovall created this fix and was kind enough to send it to me, and allow me to publish it.
