N493MC (cn 29254/1179) Version 1. Handpainted repaint of the Atlas Air 747 N493MC for the PMDG Cargo model. I updated the paintkit to my own liking to offer you more detail. This repaint contains a lot of detail on weathering like chipped off parts, wear, rivets etc. Atlas Air is a cargo airliner based in Purchase, New York and operates 27 747's which makes it the largest 747 freighter airline. There is a clean version included for the individuals that don't like the worn out repaint. Fasten your seatbelt and enjoy your flight!

File Description:
This is a re-paint of the former Air Rhodesia DC-3 (Cargo) VP-YKP as it appeared in the 1960's. It was in service from 1953-1977. This re-paint is suitable for the MAAM DC-3 (cargo) only. Air Rhodesia was re-named Air Zimbabwe once that country became independent. It comes with shading and dirt from all of its landings on dusty African Airstrips. VH-SLM belongs to the Rockhampton Aero Club based in, of all places, Rockhampton, Queensland! Who'dda' believed it? It wouldn't surprise me to find out it paid for it's keep by ferrying holiday makers to Marble Island. Look it up, it looks fabulous!
Built in 1969, she was first registered in Australia in 1980. I think The Rockhampton Aero Club obtained it in 2005 and freshened up the paintwork. What I do know is that you need to have a paid for copy of Flight1's BN-2 Islander for the engines to work!

The white wings from my add-on are slightly modified but are from Stefan Bree's "FS2004/FSX Avion Express Malta opb. Eurowings Airbus A320-214 (9H-MLO)" add-on from Flightsim, so credits to him too!!!
