P38 v1.1 For X-Plane 6.4-6.6

File Description:
P38v1.1 for X-Plane 6.4-6.6. Improved paint job, panel and other minor improvements. The P38 developed a a result for a fast long range fighter requested by the US; most manufacturers ignored the call for proposals because of the ridiculous requirements. Lockheed, using the brilliant and unconventional ideas of their designer, Kelly Johnson (who later went on to help design the SR-71 Blackbird among others), came up with a plane that was totally unique for the time. It had two engines, used liquid cooled inlines instead of radials, tricycle landing gear, provided staggering operating ranges and payloads yet was able to maneuver capably with single engined fighters. The test models of the P38 made more "firsts" than any other plane both on paper and in the air.

P-40E Warhawk

File Description:
P40E Warhawk for x-plane 6.4-6.6 - The P-40 Warhawk built by Curtiss was developed from the P-36 simply by replacing the radial engine with the liquid cooled Allison 1720 V12 with 1125 HP. It was America's foremost fighter in service when WWII began. P-40s engaged Japanese aircraft during the attack on Pearl Harbor and the invasion of the Philipines in December 1941. They also were flown in China early in 1942 by the famed Flying Tigers and in North Africa in 1943 by the first AAF all-black unit, the 99th Fighter Squadron. The P-40 served in the Aleutian Islands, Italy, the Middle East, the Far East, the Southwest Pacific and some were sent to Russia. Though often outclassed by its adversaries in speed, maneuverability and rate of climb, the P-40 earned a reputation in battle for extreme ruggedness. At the end of the P-40's brilliant career, more than 14,000 had been produced for service in the air forces of 28 nations, of which 2,320 were of the "E" series.

Saguaro National Park East.

File Description:
This is a scenery of Saguaro National Park East, located at the eastern edge of Tucson, Arizona, next to the Rincon Mountains. There are photoreal macros of the Visitor Center, Toll Booth, and Saguaro's created with EOD and digital photos from the park. I have provided a fictional helio pad, and also a fictional airstrip, Tanque Verde Airstrip TVA, with AFCAD file, to provide easy access to the scenery. All Textures included. By Robert Palmer

Northwest Airbus 320 (AI) Texture Update

File Description:
Texture update for my Northwest A320 (AI). In this version (v1.1), the top half of the fuselage and wing-fences have been corrected to true-Northwest red. A small texture issue around the nose has also been filtered out. Requires nwa320-ai.zip available here on AVSIM. Installation is as simple as replacing the current file with the BMP included in this download.

Foxbat Stealth Bomber

File Description:
Forget that the leading edge temperature going mach 4 at 75000 feet is about 640 degrees C and concentrate on flying this mach 4.25 stealth bomber which I have dubbed the "foxbat". With a range of more than 15000 nm at 75000 ft. at mach 4 it can outperform any of todays planes. The plane is very stable and easy to fly at all altitudes up to about 75000 feet. To get maximum range at high altitude engage 1st flap position after reaching 60000+ feet; this increases lift to drag ratio to over 8.
