P-51D 1st Scouting Force "Easy does it"

File Description:
This folder contains a repaint for the A2A/Shockwave World War II Fighters P-51D Mustang, showing P-51D 44-13557 5E-E “Easy Does It” as flown by Lt. Richard L “Spider” Smith (ex 303rd BG) of the 1st Scouting Force, 8th AF, based in Bassingbourn. Repaint by Jan Kees Blom, based on the repaint kit by John Terrell. It should work in both FSX and FS9.

File Description: This folder contains a repint for the Warbirdsim P-51D Little Friends package in the colours of 44-14705 6N-W 'Boomerang!' , which was the regular aircraft of Lt. Richard G Thieme of Sheboygan WI, who flew with the 505th FS/339th FG out of Fowlmere, UK. He gave it this name "because boomerangs always come back"! Repaint by Jan Kees Blom, based on the textures by warbirdsim.

KBRT - RI Bong AFB

File Description:
Richard I. Bong AFB, Brighton, Wis. Originally designed out in the 1950's as a NORAD Base with the 56th FIG assigned to cover the Milwaukee/Chicago region the Great Lakes. Later it was transferred to SAC as a B-47/KC-97 installations and the 4040th Air Base Squadron taking command of the base. Initial drainage and the runway were laid out and the runway was within 3 days of being poured when the project was cancelled and the base closed. The base later became the Richard Bong State Recreation Area west of Kenosha, Wis. on US-142. The layout of the runway can be seen by satellite. This is the first of two versions of this base, this has the B-47/KC-97 layout, the second (KBRT RI Bong-B-52) will be B-52/KC-135. Both are set-up for the NORAD unit (56th FIG) using F-101 Voodoo aircraft. Check readme for requirements.

Albuquerque Sectional Chart

File Description:
Fly eastbound from Phoenix and visit Area 51 and Roswell (where SETI was "born"), Alamogordo, White Sands National Monument, Trinity Site (where the Manhattan Project tested the first nuclear device), Albuquerque (the state´s capital city), Lincoln County (where Billy the Kid was shot), the Mescalero Reservation (great skiing at Sierra Blanca south of the White Mountain Wilderness Area) and Capitan, Birthplace of Smokey the Bear. Flying VFR in this kind of countryside isn´t easy, as there aren´t all that many landmarks to rely on. Maybe this chart is of some assistance to you. You may use it "as is" without any other software, but it will develop its full potential if used as moving map with SimSystem´s FSFlightMax or FSGarmin. It wouldn´t have been possible to offer this chart without Richard Harvey and his love to flightsimming, so please consider this file to be "donationware" and make a however small contribution to the Richard Harvey Endowed Scholarship.

Lockheed P-38J 'California Cutie'

File Description: Textures only for FlightSim Developers Lockheed P-38J-15-LO Lightning Repaint by Rick Spork (Smashing Time) based on the repaint kit. 'California Cutie', a P-38J flown by Lt. Richard Loehnert of the 55th Fighter Squadron, 20th Fighter Group, Kings Cliffe, England July 1944. 42-67916 was a veteran of over 90 missions. On July 7, 1944 Loehnert bagged 2 ME-109s in a big air battle defending B-24's attacking Merseburg.

File Description:
AFCAD Enhancement package for China. Here are 24 airports which have been modified to double in most cases, or triple their aircraft capacity. The gates are probably not true to life, but they definitely liven up the parking around the country. The ZBAA Beijing layout is modified from Richard Mohammed's original (very nice job!); all I have done is turn the GA parking into a split cargo area; and more GA spaces as well.

Childpoint Converter V1.0

File Description:
Chptconv.exe is program to convert bglc sourcefiles (*asm). It converts VTPMethods2 structures from using only VTPWidePoint (like produced from the current Scenery programs) to combinations of VTPWidePoints and VTPChildPoint (like the default roads in MS Flightsimulator 2002/2004). This will eliminate the unwanted autogen caused by VTPWidePoint-only lines (i.e. telephone poles on runways, taxiways etc.). It can compile the output files into bgl files, if bglc.exe and the TDFMacros from Richard Ludowise are available.
