| Mirage F.1CG Hellenic Air Force |
|
File Description:
On 16 June 1974 the contract for 40 Mirage F.1CG.s was signed and the deliveries were scheduled to last from 1977 until 1979. Because of the invasion of Cyprus by Turkey, in July 1974, the Mirages delivered on 5 August 1975. The Greek F.1CGs aircraft entered service with the 342 Mira, which at the time was still using the F-102A Delta Dart as an all-weather interceptor. The last Delta Daggers in HAF service would be retired in 1977 when all 40 F.1CGs were delivered. Unfortunately the Hellenic Air Force Staff did not buy any of the French AA missiles to equip the new fighters and so these had to be armed with US-supplied AIM-9Js instead. In 1984 the KETA (Center for Research and Aviation Technology) stared to develop the wiring for the 2 outboard underwing pylons, in order to make F.1Cgs able to carry 4 AAM instead of 2. This happened with Dassault's help by 1985 and ever since the PA Mirage tooth four AIM-9P-2. After the arrival of more modern types in PA service, the Mirage E.1CG's started to become secondary in PA planning and air operations. In 2000 344 Mira disbanded and all it’s aircraft and personnel passed on to 342 Mira. After almost 28 years of service, on 30 June 2003 the remaining 24 F.1CG's were retired at Tanagra AB. In total, the PA logged no less but 160.000+ flying hours with its F.1CGs, which means 5500-6000 per airframe - and many of these - over 3.500+ hours - in "live" interceptions over the Aegean Sea, under combat-similar conditions. Features: panel, Virtual Cockpit, four Textures, Sounds, msonic boom effect, reworked and more accurate flight dynamics.

File Description:
Compatible with both FS2002 and FS2004
FlightSim Manager is a great tool for managing add-ons to Microsoft Flight Simulator. Using easy to Wizard - FSM can install various addins from distribution ZIP files that you may have downloaded, with easy uninstaller. FSM has lots of feature to offer, from an easy to use Aircraft editor to add/edit aircraft variants, to an comprehensive Hangar management that allows you to manage and configure your add-ons off your live FS installation. You can create Virtual Fleets, and enable/disable the complete fleet with ease. For serious pilots, there is also a complete Logbook.
If you have access to networked PCs, you can use FSM Lan View feature to create virtual cockpits with as many different views as you like. FSM also make it very easy to control Flight Simulator with speech commands, with additional support for auto-saving flight, warning system, and your own custom event sounds.
Using a powerful Editor, you can now edit your AI Flight Plans - plans can be saved as sets, which then in turn can be enabled in Flight Simulator. With FSM, you can create Texture Sets ( your own custom texture installer ) - capture screenshots, complete Benchmark with log, launching Flight Simulator with Random Screens, and fly from anywhere in the world using an map view.
Finally with a comprehensive Diagnostic Tools and Repository feature, FSM keeps your FS installation clean. Apart from the usual Missing and unused gauges, FSM can also locate Aircraft problems, Missing and unused effects, and Scenery Problems with a LandClass File relocate feature - say bye-bye to all the memory leaks.
There are still a lot more features that you will need to discover by yourself.

| "Janet Airways" Boeing 737-600 BBJ-ER |
|
Images related to this file:
File Description:
A highly classified small fleet of passenger aircraft known as "Janet" is operated for the United States Air Force to transport military and contractor employees. It mainly serves the Nevada National Security Site (most notably Area 51 (AR51) and Tonopah Test Range (TNX), from their terminal at Las Vegas' McCarran International Airport (KLAS). The planes are also used to fly to/from Air Force Plant 42 (KPMD), Naval Air Weapons Station China Lake (KNID), Hill Air Force Base (KHIF), and Edwards Air Force Base (KEDW). I encourage you to locate, download, and install the AFCAD files or scenery add-ons associated to these airports from any source you desire, but make sure they are designed for FSX. The fleet's "Janet" call sign, from which its de facto name comes, is said to stand for "Just Another Non-Existent Terminal", or more likely "Joint Air Network". Everything is realistic in this model, now, and most simmers know how inaccurate the original FSX 737-800 was. However, this aircraft simulates the accuracy of a 737-600 BBJ-ER, if there ever was one built. I modified everything to fit that aspect, except for the visual model. The engine characteristics are correct as well as all weight/balance and MOI. I even fixed the wheels to be accurate in base, track and pressure size. Everything I've done here is for educational purposes without any expectation of any monetary gain, and offered publicly for free. Read the Readme.txt file for installation and details. All persons involved with this and the original design are credited, unless they are unknown and have offered no credit details. File Description:
This aircraft is the advanced upgrade from previous versions, and there are no more upgrades scheduled for the future. The paint is fictional, but illustrates what would be used for Charter flights by some airlines. Even in that case, I tried to make it as real as possible, as you will see. All authors credited other than myself are not involved with any of the engine or aerodynamic or detailed corrections. I even enhanced the parking data, callsign used, lighting effects, gear, MOI, weight & ballance, flaps and smoke for realism. There are no known issues with this model as it stands, and it is now possible to easily achieve FL510 and cruise over 8,000 nm, even with 16X simulation speed activated using auto-pilot. This perfection is based on real world aero/engine dynamic data and formulas employed within the aircraft.cfg and .air files. Flight Tuning is no longer used in this model. There is no other FSX Gulfstream G-550 available anywhere (Free or Payware) that includes all of this realism, and if there is in the future, it was copied from this data. Don't be fooled. I don't expect any world-wide awards or the "Nobel FS Prize" for any of this, but your comments related to the results will be appreciated, and acknowledged. Please understand that this work required many hours of study and testing, and is offered free for Educational Purposes primarily. The results illustrate the realism of the G-550 in almost every aspect imaginable, which is possible with all FSX aircraft when you know how and what is needed. | Southwest Airlines Boeing 737-700 v2.2 Final Package |
|
File Description:
**** THIS FILE SUPERCEEDS MY ORIGINAL FILE b737_700_southwest_v21.zip **** v2.2 - REPORTED BUGS HAVE BEEN CORRECTED. The 737 was born out of Boeing's need to field a competitor in the short-range, small capacity jetliner market which had been opened up by the BAC 1-11 and the Douglas DC-9. Boeing was badly behind however when the 737 program was initiated in 1964, as both of these rivals were already into their flight certification programmes. The 737 was cheaper and quicker to design, featuring six-abreast seating compared to the 1-11 and DC-9's five-abreast layout.By the 1990s, the 737 had lost ground technologically to the newer Airbus A320. In 1993, Boeing initiated the 737-X or Next Generation (NG) program. The Next-Generation 737 encompasses the -600, -700, -800 and -900, and amounted to a complete redesign of the 30-year old airliner. The 737NG is an entirely new aircraft, sharing very little with previous 737s, other than fuselage frames. New wings, new avionics and revised engines were the biggest engineering changes. The 737 was given a glass cockpit with CRT screens (except the -900, which had newer and higher tech LCD screens) and digital systems inspired by the ones that were used on the 777. The parts count is down by about 33%, reducing weight and simplifying maintenance. Additional changes since its introduction include a new interior and performance enhancing winglets which reduce fuel consumption and improve take-off and climb performance. All textures have been modified in DXT-3 format for crisp visuals without comprimising frame rates. Includes the default FS-X Boeing 737 panel. Sounds have been defaulted to the FS-X 737-800, however I recommend the excellent 737 CFM56 "the real deal" version 2 soundpack (file name:737_cfm56__the_real_deal_version_2.zip located at AVSIM.com) for this aircraft series. Additionally, this aircraft series has no Virtual Cockpit (VC), therefore you must fly them using the 2-D default panel view only! This package includes Southwest Airlines liveries (Canyon Blue, Maryland One, Nevada One, Old Color & Shamu).

File Description:
The AN225-210 is the result of a proposed 1 to 2-year projected modernization program which will
convert the current AN225 into a much more useful and capable aircraft than the already infamous
ÐœÑ€Ñ–Ñ (Mriya) . The latter First flew on December 21, 1988, and is currently 33 years old. There have
been a few maintenance periods and 1 major avionics modification, but otherwise is too old for reliable
future use. The 2 year process involves reconstructing the landing gear system to support much more weight. The
new engines are much more powerful, but lighter in weight, and much more fuel efficient. The wings
are replaced with similar wings with more wing-area built of modern light-weight material which gives
her higher lift capacity. The cargo hold area is reinforced for heavier weight limits. The crew areas
(upper deck, fore/aft main wing) are modernized for long duration flight, and two galleys are included.
The fuel tanks (9) now also involve 3 tanks in the upper center portion of the fuselage in order to put
less stress on the wings. The pressure system is modernized to achieve 6,000 feet cabin pressure up to
FL470. The internal and external lighting is fully modernized, the former for a pleasing effect and the
latter for distinct recognition during flight. Overall, the aircraft does not appear different to the
common observer.

File Description:
Sinapore Airlines is the launch customer for the A359ULR. The aircraft is configured in a two-class layout, with 67 Business Class seats and 94 Premium Economy Class seats. She is designed for long range flights of over 9,700 nm. Fuel has been increased at the expense of souls on board. The primary use will initially be for routes between WSSS and KJFK (or KLGA), but many others of similar distance can be added later. The flight number on this aircraft reflects the first flight from KJFK-WSSS which is only 8,275 nm (Contrary to media reports of over 9,000 nm) and about 17.5 hours duration (see You Tube video on this flight). The aircraft follows normal flight rules with a higher flight level and longer range. Almost everything is computer controlled and monitored throughout the flight, from take-off to landing. Two of Four pilots monitor the flight at all times, and shift changes occur on a schedule that allows appropriate rest for the crew. The passengers enjoy accommodations unlike provided in any other aircraft or flight, with plenty of meal servings and entertainment options. To see the seating chart, enter the Airbus A359ULR Singapore Airlines folder and click the icon named “SeatGuru Seat Map Singapore Airlines Airbus A350-900 ULR.html†and the seating map will appear. The model here has ground servicing animation. Please review the ReadMe_FSX.txt document for further info on this. Read A359ULR details.txt for aircraft details. | Boeing 747-8i Delta Northwest |
|
File Description:
FSX Boeing 747-8i Delta Northwest with advanced VC by Alejandro Rojas Lucena and VC Texture Upgrade by Enrique Cornejo. This gives the b747 a payware Virtual Cockpit look! It even has a pilot jacket hanged in the rear of the cockpit (besides the right jumpseat).
The panel.cfg and the aircraft.cfg have been assembled and edited by the Flightsim Workshop Team. Now you can pop up "My icons" window in the Virtual Cockpit to easily reach the following windows: GPS, avionics, map, ATC, Climb/Radio Altimeter/Spoiler switch, auto-break switch, throttle quadrant, clock, descentometer, kneeboard and overhead panel.
The aircraft has new engine views (from both wings) and new Virtual Cockpit interior views from the left, right and central jump seats.
The Delta Northwest texture is wonderful and it has a unique paintscheme by Mcphat Studios with a repaint by Enrique Cornejo which also includes details such as some stains caused by humidity and other details just like a real aircraft.
This aircraft uses the Project Opensky FSX Boeing B747-800 Model OSX748V4_GENX(MDL), and includes the gauge window Posky Utility to view the main stairs, ground cargo servicing, etc. The engine sounds are edited like the real ones with cockpit ambient, so you can enjoy a pleasant flight. The Flight Management Computer (FMC) is fixed and looks like a payware instrument. The VC includes FMC, Primary Flight Display (PFD) and Multi-Function Display (MDF) displayed in the correct size.
The virtual cockpit also has an Engine-Indicating and Crew-Alerting System also known as EICAS, Ground Proximity Warning System (GPWS), working wipers, cabin lights, fire suppression, avionics switch, fuel crossfeed, and you can identify those intruments in the overhead panel because they are bordered with color lines. You can also find landing lights switches, taxi light switch, engine generators, APU generator, battery switch, starter switches, de-ice switch, general lights switches which are a great work of Alejandro. So now the whole cockpit and texture upgrade with all these improvements looks better than a payware version. The clock numbers are now in orange which makes them look better and easily recognizable.
Assembled and edited for FSX by Enrique Cornejo.
