A-10 HUD and Panel

File Description:
Wanna make landing the A-10 a breeze? Do you enjoy flying by the seat of your pants at tree-top levels? Does precise formation flying with your friends or with AI aircraft sound like fun? This panel modification will make all of that virtually effortless.... These files adds a properly working A-10 HUD (Heads Up Display) and a modified panel to K. Ito's A-10, or to Kirk Olsson's/Maverick's A-10. (Or to both aircraft.) The focus has been mainly on the HUD, which features a properly scaled and accurate pitch ladder (which moves with and stays pinned to the actual sim-horizon), a working velocity vector (which shows your true flight path), as well as other typical HUD features and symbology. (Basic flight information, Nav info, ILS needles, AoA bracket, etc....) There are also several switches added which can be used to modify the function of or visibility of the various symbology elements. This HUD can easily be modified and used in other panels and with other planes.

File Description:
FS2004 Panel, F16 Air Show Tour. The panel of this jet fighter has been designed for cross country flying to events worldwide. The 2D cockpit is packed with new gauges that complement this high performance, yet docile aircraft. All gauges, lights, etc. are functional, easy to read, and are panel installed except GPS 500. For long distance flights, the panel contains on-demand refueling capabilities for both ground and air operations. A few of the new gauges are; 180-degree scan navigational radar, triple mode interceptor-refueling-terrain radar, refueling gauge with command screen, fuel center with time/distance remaining computer, new Descentometer for Mach-plus aircraft, analog engine gauges including thrust and fuel efficiency, plus a hangar full of warning and indicator lights. The intercept mode of the ai-radar feeds info to the autopilot to assist in the rendezvous with tanker to allow all-weather, day or night air refueling. Digital data for AP, radio, altimeter, timer, and Descentometer is input via a central keypad. Acknowledge ATC instructions using joystick. Designed for use with Kirk Olsson's F16 Viper. New airport and callsign files for RC4 The following new airports are included in this file: EGFF Cardiff, EGPH Edinburgh, EGDP Portland Coastguard, EGPD Aberdeen & EGPK Prestwick. Both Edinburgh and Aberdeen proved diffcult to sound correctly and because of this they are included in a separate zip file within this one. Active ILS - Niagara International Airport KBUF

File Description:
As most know initiating the ILS at certain airports for AI Aircraft or User Planes is not a function at this time when using AFCAD2 if visibilty falls below 3 miles. This is do to the somewhat complex XML code that has to be written for NAVAIDS and then the compiling into a bgl file. If you add a new ILS runway to an airport such as KBUF (rwy 32) only the user aircraft can use this runway when visibility falls below 3 miles if a GPS/LDA is unavailable. ATC will no longer use 32 ILS runway for AI Traffic or User Aircraft (by default) because FS9 sees it as a visual runway and will now vector your Planes back to 5/23 ILS which is also being used as a Terminal Departure Runway. The KBUF_ILS_jv.bgl file adds all NAVAIDS for making 32 a Precision Instrument Runway by adding all the radar fixes for both the ILS/DME approach portion and the proper missed approach procedures as per current published plates for runway 32. See the readme for what's new at the KBUF airport. **** AFCAD2 included for FS9 default scenery. ****
