| P-51D 1965 Transcontinental Trophy Dash |
|
File Description:
This is Wayne Adams' P-51D racer that placed 3rd in the 1965 Harold's Club Transcontinental Trophy Dash from Florida to Reno. Adams placed 3rd in 1965 behind Clay Lacy, but had finished first in 1964. What slowed Adams down was the fact that he was laden down with fuel and flew non-stop, rather than making the fuel stops.

File Description:
This is a repaint of the default FSX Acceleration P-51D racer. It is just a mirror polished with the Army Air Corps insignia. It is painted to how a stock P-51D would look rolling off the factory floor in 1944 or 1945. Enjoy!
