File Description:
EVA was growing quickly in 1998, focusing on international routes and leaving most of the domestic flying to its subsidiary, Uni Air. The MD-90s were very quickly transferred to Uni Air by late 1998, so these plans represent a rare time with a pair of MD-90s in the old EVA Air colors. EVA had amassed a decent fleet of 747s by 1998 and was even flying a KHH-LAX route several times weekly. Most MD-11s were already flying for EVA Cargo, and the 3 pax MD-11s remaining had the "ANK EVA" partnership logo. | Martinair 1998 AI Flightplans |

File Description:
Martinair was Holland's premiere charter outfit for many years before consolidating to an all-cargo operation several years back. In 1998, Martinair had a large scheduled operation to supplement their charter operations with 747-200s, MD-11s, and 767-300s. The 747's only scheduled route was a weekly flight to Cancun(CUN/MMUN), the rest of the 747 flights are charters. All scheduled flights are included as well as charters that I based off information found around the internet and a wide range of destinations are served. Note that the airline was celebrating it's 50th anniversary in 1998 and many of the aircraft had special titles. Flightplans by Chasen Richardson. | AeroLyon 1998 AI Flightplans |

File Description:
From 1996-2000, AeroLyon operated a single DC-10-30(with a 2nd being added in 2001) mostly between secondary French cities and the French Caribbean, with the occasional intra-Europe charter. These plans will work for the whole era, but I kept the DC-10 rather busy to ensure that all French cities that saw AeroLyon get used at least once. The aircraft usually makes a stop in France on the way to TNCM/TNCC or TFFF/TFFR then does the same on the way back. The only day the aircraft visits LFPO is Sunday, on the way back from a real charter that took place to LOWW in 1998. Jason King has painted the DC-10 on avsim as: "aim_dc1030_aero_lyon.zip". | GTI Airlines 1998 AI Package |

File Description:
The Turkish charter airline 'GTI Airlines' was formed in 1996 by the travel organisations Kayi Tours from Turkey and German Travel International. The airline offered charters both from Germany and other nations to Turkish resort cities and from large turkish cities to other holiday destinations. In february 1998 the airline was sold and renamed Air Anatolia. GTI Airlines flew an "all-widebody"-fleet of only three Airbus A300 aircraft: one B2 and two B4s. The first A300 was delivered to the airline in 1996, the other two followed in 1997. Fleet repaints for the TFS A300B2\B4 GE by Chasen Richardson are included, including how the aircraft looked in 1997 in case you plan to have different traffic periods in your sim or otherwise to pick which you prefer using. File Description:
Qatar Airways was only 4 years old in 1998, however, the fleet was already quite different and the livery had changed into the grey colors. The 2 747-200s were gone, having been leased out to Saudia for Hadji flights and never returning, and A300-600Rs had replaced the A310s (A310s would later rejoin for VIP and Freight ops). At the time, London and Munich were the only destinations in Europe and Asia was not served beyond India. Though the fleet was small in 1998, the airline would quickly grow into a large a reputable carrier which now spans the globe and even operates A380s despite the humble beginnings not so long ago! | Air Austral 1998 AI Package |

File Description:
Air Austral had yet to venture into longhaul flying in 1998, with 2 737-300s and a 737-500 flying to neighboring islands and venturing a bit into Western and Southern Africa. As the Comoros and Mayotte didn't have flag carriers, Air Austral and Air Madagascar connected destinations to these islands beyond RUN. Note that the YVA airport has since closed and the HAH airport further north is used now. These plans use the old airport and a scenery will eventually be created. Today, the airline has grown many times it's size in 1998 and now flies 777-300ERs and 787s across the globe.

| Aerosweet (Aerosvit) 1998 AI Package |

File Description:
Aerosvit was known as Aerosweet until late 1999, operating 737-200s and An-24RVs from Ukraine on wards to Europe and the former USSR, based out of Boryspil Airport in Kiev. Initially founded in cooperation with Air Ukraine to serve Western destinations with Western equipment, the airline would ultimately outlive Air Ukraine and eventually shut down as Aerosvit in 2013 as Ukraine's largest carrier, a victim of political instability in the region.
Included are repaints by Raphael Rodrigues for the FAIB 737-200 and the CIS An-24RV. As a bonus, the Aerosvit 737-200 livery is also includes should you chose to use it. This specific aircraft, PH-BUF, was involved in a horrific accident leading to the Worst Aviation Accident in History, the Tenerife Airport Disaster. It was on March 27, 1977 when 583 souls were killed on this accident. It involved two planes, this plane PH-BUF which is operated by KLM and N736PA, operated by Pan American World Airways, or "Pan Am" for short. This plane first was delivered in October 19, 1971 and was named "The Rhine" or "Rijn" It wore the "1971 - 1991" Colors. The plane was supposed to fly to Gran Canaria Airport from Amsterdam Schipol Airport, but a terrorist attack happened at the airport, forcing the KLM plane to land at Tenerife North Airport, or "Los Rodeos Airport" on the Canary Islands. This aircraft is a tribute to the 248 occupants that died that day, as well as the other 335 occupants on the Pan Am plane. Instructions are included. Model by Project Opensky.

Lockheed JetStar (company designations L-329 and L-1329; designated C-140 in US military service) is a business jet produced from the early 1960s to the 1970s. The JetStar was the first dedicated business jet to enter service, as well as the only such airplane built by Lockheed.

9H-WFF is a BDSF (Bedek Special Freighter) that started life in 1992 as a passenger variant with Japan Airlines on lease from Aersale. Was transferred to Asiana in 2012 under lease as a freighter after conversion by IAI (Israel Aerospace Industries), then leased to Air Atlanta who operate the airframe for FlyMeta, originally with an Icelandic registration of TF-WFF and as of 2026 under a Maltese registration 9H-WFF. As of January 2026 this machine (along with her two FlyMeta sister ships) can be seen operating cargo flights to Europe out of China from VHHH/Hong Kong and ZSHC/Hangzhou to EBLG/Liege and LHBP/Budapest and various central asian locations in between such as OMSJ/Sharjah and OMDW/Dubai World Central.
This repaint is for the Project Opensky (POSKY) 747-400BCF GE-CF6 model and the archive includes textures only, you will need a working copy of the model, sounds and panel, all of which can be found here at avsim.com
