File Description:
This repaint depicts Boeing's 736-80 Development aircraft (707 Prototype). Tex Johnson barrel rolled this aircraft to demonstrate how good the aircraft flies. This aircraft is now preserved in the Smithsonian Air and Space Museum. This repaint requires either Captain Sim's "Legendary 707" or Just_flight's "707 professional". I have not been able to make this repaint TCE compatible due to incompatibility issues with my system and the TCE program. This package contains two repaints for Jens B. Kristensen's FSX Douglas DC-4 & C-54 V3.0. Featured is the C-54B (modified to DC-4 standard) G-ANYB in the colours of Air Charter Ltd London and of British United Airways. In January 1955 Freddie Laker's Air Charter aquired the C-54B-DC for transport work in Germany and trooping flights from Stansted to Cyprus. In 1959 the aircraft was moved from trooping flights to service on the route Southend to Calais flying passengers on one-day trips without a passport till 1 July 1960 when Air Charter was merged into British United. From 21 September 1960 till 3 October 1960 G-ANYB was used for a rigorous flying test programme before it was converted to the first Aviation Traders ATL.98 Carvair car-ferry aircraft. These are textures only. You will need the FSX Douglas DC-4 & C-54 (DC4_V30X.ZIP). Repaints by Maarten Brouwer.
