This is a set of USAF Edwards AFB textures for the Alphasim C-17 Globemaster III.
Thanks to Greg Peters for doing the FS9 conversion and testing the textures in both FS9 and FSX.

FS2004 Handley Page HP67 Hastings. This is an all-new model of the HP67 Hastings, a British military transport that was the mainstay of RAF Transport Command from 1947 into the 1960s. The last Hastings transport was retired in 1968. Five variants are included: Hastings C.1, C.1A, Met.1, C.2 and C.4.

This folder contains a repaint for version 3 of the Douglas C-117D Skytrooper by Manfred Jahn and colleagues in the colors of US Navy R4D-8 BuNo 12437. Originally built as C-47 42-23758, it became BuNo 12437 R4D-8 with the US Navy after the war. The paint shows it the way it looked while flying in Africa in the 1970's. Since 1981 it has been flying as N44GH, mainly in Texas, and it certificate of airworthiness was cancelled in 2017. United Airlines Douglas DC-4 'N30041', a former USAF Douglas C-54B, (c/n 27251) was in service with United Airlines from February 1946 until December 1957 and named Mainliner Yellowstone. This is a repaint for the beautiful Flight Replicas Douglas DC-4/C-54/ATL98 Carvair package. Tested in FSX and P3Dv4. Installation instructions are included.

This folder contains a repaint for version 3.14 of the Douglas C-47 by Manfred Jahn and colleagues in the colors of G-AMCA (c/n 16218, ex-44-76634, KN487), one of the C-47's operated by Air Atlantique, which was an airline based at Coventry Airport operating a number of classic aircraft, both for passenger operation and for cargo operation. At present, it is being used at the old Valkenburg airbase in the Netherlands as scenery for the musical 'Soldier of Orange'.Repaint by Jan Kees Blom for Manfred Jahn's C-47 version 3.14, based on the paintkit by Gman5250.

File Description:
In 1977 the novel "Imperial 109", by Richard Doyle, was published. The story is based on the flight of an Imperial Airways Short 'Empire' Class flying-boat, "Caterina", on its journey through Africa to Cairo and onwards through Europe to England and finally across the Atlantic to New York. When I read this novel just recently I couldn't help but think that it would make a wonderful Flight for Flight Simulator, and the fact that the characters and storyline was fiction was of no concern, because the airline, the aircraft and the route flown were real. I also considered that the best way to present this was to publish it as an unfolding story in blog format, in the same fashion as the Sir Alan Cobham flight around Africa which I had undertaken. Therefore I present you with "Imperial 109" for Microsoft Flight Simulator and you can take part by following and flying the updates as I present them online.
