| RAF Bradwell Bay |

File Description:
RAF Bradwell Bay is a former Royal Air Force station located 9.5 miles (15.3 km) east of Maldon, Essex, England and 3.1 miles (5.0 km) south west of West Mersea, Essex.
The airfield was first used as grass landing strip for the nearby firing ranges before being turned into a RAF station with concrete runways and hangars.The station is unique as it was the only fighter station where the Fog Investigation and Dispersal Operation (FIDO) was used.
Part of the site is currently being used by the Bradwell nuclear power station. Several of the hangars are still used as storage by the local farmers and the control tower is now a private house. Agricultural buildings, built in the '70s and '80s on runways one and two, are now home to several local businesses.

This folder contains a repaint for the FG-1D Corsair by Milviz for MSFS, in the colors of Chance-Vought F4U-5N Corsair was built in 1951. After serving with the US Navy, it went to Honduras in the mid 50's. In 1978, the Honduran Air Force sold nearly all their Corsairs to Hollywood wings in the USA, some even flying. Other were sent by rail, and assembled in the USA, which might have mixed up parts. It is believed the VH-III was originally BuNo 123168/FAH603. The Walt Disney company bought it in 1987 and gave it to the RNZAF in thanks for helping out with a movie. The RNZAF traded it with Graham Hoskins for a Cutriss P-40F. The aircraft was then restored in Darwin and made its first post restoration flight in 2014, painted in Honduran colors. It is based at Tyabb airfield in Victoria, Australia. | RAF Fiskerton |

File Description:
RAF Fiskerton was a Royal Air Force station located north of the Lincolnshire village of Fiskerton, 5.0 miles east of Lincoln, Lincolnshire, England
It was one of many new bomber airfields built in the early part of World War II. The airfield was situated north of the village from where it got its name. It was one of only 15 RAF airfield equipped with FIDO, a fog-clearing system utilizing petrol pumped through pipes alongside the main runway and burned via a sequence of nozzles.
No. 49 Squadron and No. 576 Squadron RAF were stationed at RAF Fiskerton. 49 squadron took part in the Peenemande raid on the research and development centre for the V2 missile. 576 Squadron took part in the raid on Hitler's hideout at Berchtesgaden and in Operation Manna.
Between 1962 and 1992 a Headquarters of the Royal Observer Corps was located within the airfield boundary.
