| Libyan Air Force Tupolev Tu-22A Blinder-B |
|
File Description:
Libyan Air Force Tupolev Tu-22A Blinder-B for AI Traffic; with three repaints of aircraft in service with the Libyan Air Force in the 1970s and 1980s. This is an excellent addition to your retro military AI world, a classic Cold War medium bomber. A very mean, sleek design, not always kind to its crews, with over 70 of roughly 350 production aircraft lost in accidents. This aircraft saw extensive combat in the 70s and 80s, in North Africa, the Middle East, and Southwest Asia. The Blinder also found work as a high-speed recce and electronic warfare platform. This is a textures-only repaint, requires the base file (sbai_tu22.zip) available here on AVSIM. Model by Sergey Bunevich, repaints by Michael Pearson.

| Lockheed Jetstar Prototype |
|
File Description:
FS 2004 Aircraft - The Lockheed Jetstar was the first business jet. A four-engined aircraft, with several engine models installed, the aircraft was in production from 1957 to 1979. It entered service in early 1961. The first two Jetstars were twin engined airplanes, powered by Bristol Siddeley Orpheus turbojet engines. The second was refitted with the four Pratt & Whitney JT12 engines that were installed on all the first Jetstars. Garrett TFE731 turbofans were installed on later airplanes. A total of 204 Jetstars were built by Lockheed in several models. Military versions flew four U.S. Presidents, carrying the Air Force One designation while they were aboard (some jokingly called it Air Force One Half.) This model represents the first two Jetstars. File Description:
This folder contains a repaint for version 3.14 of the Douglas C-47 by Manfred Jahn and colleagues in the colors of X-1 of the Dutch Air Force. The Dutch Air Force received her first Dakota's in 1952, although they owned one in 1946, but that crashed near Katwijk the same year and was destroyed. That one carried the registration X-1, but that is not the subject of my paint... The Air Force later leased one C-47 from the KLM, gave it the military registration X-2, but it kept its civil registration, PH-TBV, on the tail. Later they leased a few more, and clearly they liked them, because they bought a few more in 1952. The first one was taken on charge in 1952 and was numbered X-1 as depicted in this repaint. The makers badge with its construction number was missing however, and nobody seems to know where this aircraft came from. The logbook mentions the aircraft was 'found'. There was a rumour that the aircraft had been used by refugees from the east and landed at Valkenburg airfield without registration. About a year later, in
the aircraft made an emergency landing near Valkenburg after taking off for a relief flight for the flooded areas in the south of the Netherlands on 6 februari 1953 and was written off.Repaint by Jan Kees Blom for Manfred Jahn's C-47 version 3.14, based on the paintkit by Gman5250.
