RAF Greenham Commom

File Description:
RAF Greenham Common (ICAO X2GC) is a former Royal Air Force station in Berkshire, England. The airfield was southeast of Newbury, about 55 miles (89 km) west of London. It was opened in 1942, and was used by both the Royal Air Force and United States Army Air Forces during the Second World War and the United States Air Force during the Cold War. After the Cold War ended, the station was closed in 1993. The airfield was also known for the Greenham Common Women's Peace Camp held outside its gates in the 1980s. In 1997 Greenham Common was designated as public parkland. USAF Douglas VC-118A Air Force One

File Description:
USAF Douglas VC-118A AIR FORCE ONE Tail-Nr. 53-3240, c/n 44611 in colors as preserved. In presidential service from 1961 to 1966, since 1978 loaned by U. S. Air Force Museum to Pima Air & Space Museum. Was actually designated the official presidential aircraft in the early years of the Kennedy administration and remained part of the presidential fleet during the Kennedy-Johnson administration, even though the White House had acquired a Boeing VC-137. The essential "Air Force One" for all FS2004 propliner fans (Version 2). A repaint of Tom Gibson's and Greg Pepper's great DC-6B by Hans Hermann, Virtual Birds Factory. (Version 2 corrects the problem of version 1, that came here with wings painted in a not authentic color)

This texture set represents an E-2C Hawkeye 'Daya' Airborne Warning and Control aircraft operated by the Israel Defence Force/Air Force beginning in the summer of 1978. This zip file contains only the textures that are unique to this scheme. You will also need the original "FSX: Steam Edition - Grumman E-2C Hawkeye Add-On" files. Repaint by Frank Safranek using paint kit by Virtavia Pty Ltd.
