| B58 Hustler v1.1 for Vs. 6.4/6.51 |
|
File Description:
B58 Hustler v1.1 for X-Plane 6.40/6.51 Updated so PC users can read paint.BMP file- development of the B58 began in 1951 with 161 planes delivered to SAC between 1960 and 1970. Americas first supersonic jet bomber (mach 2+) the B58 was designed for high speed delivery of nuclear or conventional weapons from long range as a compliment to the B52 subsonic bomber. One of the most sophisticated planes ever developed, the B58 set many speed and altitude records some of which remain unbroken today. With a gross takeoff weight of 173000 lbs the B58 could cary as much as 101000 lbs of fuel (that's almost 60% of the gross weight). One of the most computerized aircraft ever built, the B58 is amazingly easy to fly without any computer assistance (except the one used to run the x-plane simulator). Go to the attached web sit for the fascinating story of the B58 Hustler.

| NumberPad Control for FSX and P3D |
|
Images related to this file:
File Description:
NpC4FSX&P3D (NumberPadControl for FSX and P3D) is a more efficient (and more convenient to set up)
version of a similar NpC program that I wrote a few years ago and which to
my surprise PC Pilot magazine included on their 100th Anniversary edition Freeware CD. With
NpC4FSX&P3D you assign keys to functions like Com, Nav, Heading, Course, Altitude, VS,
Autopilot functions, etc., and then can enter the associated values (like frequencies or headings) just by typing on the
keyboard’s numberpad instead of fiddling with elusive mouse click spots. NpC4FSX&P3D is
programmed primarily for aircraft with avionics that were developed within standard FSX
programming guidelines but also supports third party add-
on aircraft such as the Flysimware L35A and MU2, PMDG 737NGX / B777, Flight1 King Air
B200, A2A Cherokee 180, and also works with GPS units like the GTN750. Setup manual included.
A registered (payware) copy of FSUIPC is required.

| De Havilland DHC 3 Otter Amphibian |
|
File Description:
IBM PC version
The De Havilland Canada DHC3 Otter was built in the mid 1950's as a workhorse for developing outback Canada. With double slotted full span flaps (drooping ailerons) and 2000lbs payload, its STOL capability, along with also having a float version with retracts, made it an ideal "Bushplane" with unparalelled performance from any contempory aircraft.
This model is fully amphibious and was built using Truespace 3.2 and Chris Wallace's 3ds to S3d converter for Fly! II.
The model requires that you have the Tri default aircraft installed.
A few non-standard features have been included to improve the ease of operation.
1. nose wheel steering (the original uses differential braking and castoring nose gears)
2. an electric pump for hydraulics (optional on the original )
3. a simple GPS that can be slaved to the auto pilot. (unheard of during the production life of the original but very likely to be found on any survivng present day aircraft. )
Enjoy.

| GlassWing: the Visible Biplane (Xp v7.62) |
|
File Description:
Welcome to GlassWing, the most detailed aircraft yet made for X-Plane. It represents a new generation of Xp planes: aircraft modeled mostly outside of PlaneMaker.
GlassWing is a four place, all metal sport biplane made for mountain flying. It offers superb climb rates, very short field capabilities and a high service ceiling. With its transparent skin, every major aircraft component is visible: spars, ribs, hinges and more. Right down to the spark plugs. It is a good visual tool for any flight school. It also shows the relationship between power and trim.
GlassWing can haul almost 700 pounds into remote regions, for scenic and challenging flights. With its 300 horsepower V8 engine, it climbs like a homesick angel and can turn on a dime. Comes with Greg Hofer's Garmin AVD 55 GPS plug in (PC only) for easy navigation. GlassWing is an excellent barnstormer, ribbon cutter, hangar and Tower buzzer.
Join Doug and Allison with their husky dog Sitka, on a weekend camping flight into the hills. Try some real flying: in the mountains, not over them. Land where no one has landed before. A good system with 128 VRAM is recommended for smooth flights. Fly the GlassWing today ! | California Central Coast Scenery for FSX with Megascenery Earth (Default Mesh Terrain) |
|
Images related to this file:
File Description:
Revised 1/7/10 for upload to Avsim.COM. CCFSXMSFix is incorporated so not required.
This is an earlier version of CCC Megascenery Earth scenery that doesn't require FSGenesis Mesh Terrain. See CCFSXMSG.ZIP for the FSGenesis Mesh version.
This scenery covers the California coastal region from N36°10' (Coalinga) to N34°25' (Santa Barbara) and from the coast East to W119°40'. It is a version of my previous California Central Coast scenery redesigned and expanded to work with MegaScenery Earth from PC Aviator Inc. Many airstrips in the area covered by this scenery have been added or enhanced for a total of 27 airports/airstrips in the area. Several areas of interest such as the Santa Barbara marina, Morro Bay, etc. are also included for a total of 41 points of interest. All airports/airstrips and related structures have been adjusted and realigned to conform to actual positions and dimensions as indicated by the MegaScenery satellite textures. In addition, there are 6 invisible water runways for use by AI floatplane traffic. MegaScenery California-13, -14 and -15 are required for this scenery to make sense. I also used California-12, -28 and -29 when constructing the scenery but they could be considered optional.

| 52F North West Regional Airport (DFW TX) |
|
Images related to this file:
File Description:
This airport scenery does not require any other software other than Microsoft Flight Sim X SP1 (minimum) - SP2 required for mission and display of some of the scenery items. However, it could help with performance on your PC if you install any accurate photo scenery for DFW. One such scenery is MEGASCENERY DFW photo scenery from http://www.megascenery.com/.
This is a custom developed scenery for airport, 52F - Northwest Regional, Roanoke, TX. 52F is next to Fort Worth Alliance in the Dallas Fort Worth Metroplex. It's a nice little airport.
This scenery package also includes a Mission called "52Foxtrot - Approach to Rwy 35 - Thermals". It is more of a free flight than the traditional FSX missions. The ones who fly for real at 52F-Northwest regional knows the quirks when coming into land at runway 35 on a hot day. The thermals at the cleared land and the sinking feeling when flying over the wooded area nearing the approach to 35. These thermal lifts and sinks have been modeled here. However, the only way to experience these thermals in FSX is via Missions. Once you select the mission "52Foxtrot - Approach to Rwy 35 - Thermals" and by selecting option "Enable changes in selected Mission", you could fly around like you would under "free flight". Except this time, you would have these thermal effects around 52F and get to experience what it's really like to fly and land at 52F.
