Polar Air Cargo / DHL Boeing 747-8F (N856GT) Download

Images related to this file:

File Description:
Founded in 1993, Polar Air Cargo has since worked extensively as an American air cargo company. The airline is currently operating under AAWW (Atlas Air Worldwide) and has several 747-8F shared with Atlas. From N850GT to N859GT, the 747-8F fleet for Polar works all over the globe and runs Air Mobility Command missions, cargo flights, and charter services for Polar, DHL, and Atlas Airlines. N856GT has been was registered to British World Cargo in 2011 as G-GSSD and then later wore an interim livery until Polar Air Cargo acquired the aircraft from Atlas. I have painted the interim liver as well. N856GT has flown nearly half a million miles since the start of 2016 and its most popular city pairs are: CVG-ANC-HKG-ICN- NGO-CVG. Enjoy this livery!

The Most Dangerous Airports: Kai Tak Download

File Description:
I have created the next in, The Most Dangerous Airport Mission Series: namely Kai Tak. The missions are a historical nature, both for the airport and the aircraft. The flight is a fictional charter British Airways flight. The Kai Tak airport was rated as the one of the most dangerous airports, due to it's approach, it has a 45° right bank just, before landing on runway 13. The airport was famous for it's approach through, flying through the high raising buildings of Hong Kong, with regular crosswinds, which have created numerous problems for many a pilot. So I decided to put these two together in a mission to be enjoyed as a challenge. I have created the following 4 options: FSX - Day - Stormy weather; FSX - Night - Stormy weather; Online - Day - weather; Online - Night - weather.

Fsx Air Flamenco Trislander Textures Download

Images related to this file:

File Description:
Fsx Air Flamenco Britten-Norman Bn-2A Mk III Trislander Textures. Air Flamenco is a small fleet based in San Juan, Puerto Rico, which connects the main island with the smaller ones of Vieques and Culebra. They may occasionally fly to the US and British Virgin Islands. There are nine BN-2, three Shorts and a Trislander active to this date. This texture for Air Flamenco Trislander N920GD completes my previous Air Flamenco fleet available on Flightsim.com and Avsim (air_flamenco_fleet_2021.zip). Requires Michael Pearson's base model mpai_bn2am3_trislander_traffic.zip, available on Avsim. The model should be compatible with FSX up to P3Dv3. Please refer to modeler's documentation. I've also added flight plans based on Flightradar24's and other websites. They are not 100% accurate but should provide an idea of the recent traffic.

Mitiga International Airport HLLM P3DV4 Download

File Description:
This Addon for P3D V4, Currently the most realistic and best addon for MITIGA airport. Changes: - APT position aligned. - Correct Taxiway designators. - Corrected stands and thier positions. Info about the airport: The airport has a diverse international history and has been known by a variety of names. It was originally built in 1923 as an Italian air force base called aeroporto militare di Mellaha. It became a German air base during World War II. The airbase was captured by the British 8th Army in January 1943 and transferred to the control of the US Army Air Forces, who called it Mellaha AAF until 1945, when they renamed it Wheelus Air Base for a US airman killed that year. RAF Keevil Download

File Description:
The airfield was built on a site previously ear-marked for the purpose in the mid-1930s. Consisting of 3 long concrete runways the airfield was used by the Royal Air Force and the United States Army Air Forces Eighth and Ninth Air Forces. In 1942 Keevil airfield was provided to the USAAF and it was assigned USAAF designation 471 (KV). Squadrons based at the unit transported military freight and supplies using C-47 and C-53 aircraft. RAF Fighter Command use Short Stirlings of Nos. 196 and 299 Squadrons RAF lining the runway at RAF Keevil on the evening of 5 June 1944 before emplaning paratroops of the 5th Parachute Brigade Group for the invasion of Normandy With the departure of the Americans, the RAF used Keevil beginning in March 1944 for 196 and 299 Squadron Short Stirling glider tugs of No. 38 Group RAF arrived followed by a large number of Horsa gliders, crewed by Army pilots of the Glider Pilot Regiment. The RAF Stirling aircraft were crewed by RAF, RCAF, RAAF, RNZAF and SAAF personnel and were engaged in SOE and SAS drops. largely in France, and in glider towing. Their involvement in the Normandy invasion of France and Operation Market-Garden is well remembered by Keevil and Steeple Ashton villagers. Casualties of army and air force personnel were heavy and a number of aircraft were lost. With the end of military control, Keevil airfield is virtually complete with all of its runways, perimeter track and many of the hardstands still in place. It is used occasionally for British Army and RAF exercises. The airfield is still frequently used by the RAF for training purposes such as air drops and parachuting, the gate is always locked and access is restricted to authorized key holders only. Ref ~ http://www.wdrcfc.org.uk/wp/about-2/clubrules/ Since 1992 it has been home to the Bannerdown Gliding Club, an RAF Gliding and Soaring Association Club, affiliated to RAF Brize Norton since the closure of nearby RAF station at Lyneham. The airfield is also used as a motorsport circuit for various events. It is also the home of the Warminster and District Radio Control flying club. In September 1994 the Keevil Society, organised by Paul Vingoe, held a Commemorative Day to mark the 50th anniversary of the D-Day and Arnhem operations and to dedicate a memorial to all who served at Keevil, especially those who flew from there and lost their lives. RAF Stronsay Download

File Description:
Presenting RAF Stronsay- north of Scapa Flow, UK. Real airfield but redesigned as if it might have been used in WW II, but wasn't. Located about 30 nm north of Scapa Flow, site of the Royal Navy WW I & II ships. This will be a nice addition to Scapa Flow which should be arriving soon from a collaboration of a number of us. This scenery includes a bit of my wry humor, my first published try at making static planes except for the DC-3, John Stinstrom's vintage vehicles- very well done. Front gate guard house has many items inside including coffee pot and fry pan on the stove. The British personnel are from John Dutton in Malta who passed away in May, 2010. He is sorely missed. I do hope you enjoy this scenery. Bob

Birmingham (EGBB) Complete Traffic Package V 1.0 Download

File Description:
This is my first version of a project on my local airport Birmingham International. It consists of 2 folders, one has two afcad overlay files known as the 'Eurohub Terminal' and the 'Main Terminal'. The afcad files give Birmingham a lot more gates than the default and is made to be used with John Walker's Birmingham 2002 Scenery. The second folder consists of the flightplan and aircraft folder used, which will need to be compiled to your flight sim directory. The aircraft used are 100% realistic and have been researched from the official bhx site and schedules. The only flaw is that this version does not include any of the eurohub British Airways flights nor the Monarch charter flights leaving Birmingham. However in my next version i will include these as i have left the two most importaint airlines till last.
