British Airways (Landor) McDonnell Douglas MD80, with hand painted fuselage and tail; utilizing the Super 80 Professional model from Flight1/Coolsky. BA never operated MD-80s so this repaint is based on one from a BAC-111, and carries the registration G-AVMU from that aircraft. Textures for FSX and the Super 80 Professional ONLY. Packaged file which requires the Flight1 FSX Repaint Manager to install.

Model Features include fully animated control surfaces, fully independent suspension, main gear steering, trim animation, opening passenger doors, opening cargo doors, dynamic flexing wings, animated tilting bogies, rolling wheels, animated thrust reversers, fully reflective textures ( each part has different degree of reflection based on material ), accurate flight dynamics ( accurate FDE with full profiles for wheels, tires, struts, leading/trailing struts, engine types ... Tested by real pilots.), newly re-defined individual part damage profiles, accurate spoiler animation, detailed textures, full night lighting, visible landing lights from the cockpit, reflective cockpit windows, crash effects, transparent nav light lenses, newly re-defined individual part damage profiles. This is a repaint of the Posky 757-200 RR aircraft in the Landon "British Airways" livery. The plane is for FS9 and has been thoroughly tested without incident. Any person installing this plane into FSX does so at their risk. Installation, Distribution Limitations and contacts for me are in the ReadMe file. Project Opensky Boeing 747SP with Rolls-Royce RB211 engines in the 1970s red-tail livery of British Airways. The airline did not operate this particular variant of the 747 in the real world. Complete aircraft included- extract the aircraft folder from the archive, move to your MSFS aircraft folder and fly. This file replaces the previous textures-only release- see the readme for details. Designed in FS2004 and not tested in FSX. [re-load after AVSIM library incident- also minor detail corrections- see readme]
