This specific aircraft, PH-BUF, was involved in a horrific accident leading to the Worst Aviation Accident in History, the Tenerife Airport Disaster. It was on March 27, 1977 when 583 souls were killed on this accident. It involved two planes, this plane PH-BUF which is operated by KLM and N736PA, operated by Pan American World Airways, or "Pan Am" for short. This plane first was delivered in October 19, 1971 and was named "The Rhine" or "Rijn" It wore the "1971 - 1991" Colors. The plane was supposed to fly to Gran Canaria Airport from Amsterdam Schipol Airport, but a terrorist attack happened at the airport, forcing the KLM plane to land at Tenerife North Airport, or "Los Rodeos Airport" on the Canary Islands. This aircraft is a tribute to the 248 occupants that died that day, as well as the other 335 occupants on the Pan Am plane. Instructions are included. Model by Project Opensky.

Repaint of Greg Pepper/Tom Gibson's gmax Douglas DC-7 SevenSea in Pan Am theme in 1960s. N744PA was named Clipper Pacific Trader. DC7 was the last prop airliner from Douglas. You need original aircraft package of DC-7C available at www.calclassic.com. I've used paintkit also available from www.calclassic.com. Enjoy flying happy SevenSea.

File Description:
This is textures only repaint for the Calclassic DC-6B by Greg Pepper for the "international" CB-17 version. Loftleidir was the low cost leader in Trans-Atlantic airline service. In late 1959 they acquired several ex-Pan Am DC-6Bs equipped with the more powerful CB-17 engines. Pan Am had used these on their "Rainbow" tourist service, and Loftleidir stuffed even more seats into them, thus they were able to offer low prices that nobody else could match. Their slogan was "We are the slowest, but we are the lowest". This is their very first DC-6B, TF-LLA "Leifur Eiriksson", and entered scheduled service from April 1960 until 1970. Make sure this goes into your DC-6B CB-17 folder and not into the CB-16 folder!

(Re-upload) This is repaint of All Nippon Airways Douglas DC-3. First delivered as USAAF 42-15541 and to PAN AM NC44786 then to All Nippon Airways as JA5045 at 1957. Unfortunately 8 months after ANA has received the aircraft, crashed near Oshima island. You'll need MAAM SIM Douglas DC-3 to use this repaint.

Model Features include fully animated control surfaces, fully independent suspension, main gear steering, trim animation, opening passenger doors, opening cargo doors, dynamic flexing wings, animated tilting boogies, rolling wheels, animated thrust reverser's, fully reflective textures (each part has different degree of reflection based on material), accurate flight dynamics (accurate FDE with full profiles for wheels, tires, struts, leading/trailing struts, engine types ... Tested by real pilots.), newly re-defined individual part damage profiles, accurate spoiler animation, detailed textures, full night lighting, visible landing lights from the cockpit, reflective cockpit windows, crash effects, transparent nav light lenses, newly re-defined individual part damage profiles. This is a paint of Pan Am (Pan American World Airways) Clipper Juan T. Trippe N747PA which was the 2nd 747 ever built in her billboard livery from the mid 80s until the end of Pan Am in 1991.
