Hellenic Navy Air Force, De Havilland D.H.9

File Description:
The AIRCO - De Havilland D.H.9, designed to be the successor to the D.H.4, was constructed in large numbers (over 3,000 airframes). The 'ÍáõôéêÞ ÁåñïðïñéêÞ Õðçñåóßá' (N.A.Y./ Hellenic Navy Air Force) received, after the end of WWI, a total of 42 D.H.9s and used them as recce/bombers; after 1926 six of them were transformed in seaplanes. The D.H.9s were used with success by N.A.Y. during the Micrasiatic Campaign (1922). All the D.H.9s were based on Tatoi's and Faliro's Airports, near Athens, until 1932. Texture set only for an aircraft belonged to the N.A.Y. during 1925/26.These textures require the original FS9 De Havilland DH-9 package by Chris Herring. Repaint by Manuele Villa, February 2008.

This file corrects the numbering of gates and parking positions, adds missing positions, corrects taxiway layouts and designators, and adds missing vehicle paths. Only limited assignments to gates are included. Correct runway displacement and closed runway segment added. Apron enlarged to fit default buildings. Tested with World of AI and UTX Europe only. Royal Malaysian Air Force's de Havilland DH104 Dove

File Description:
The two-engined Dove aircraft came into RMAF service in 1961. The aircraft has a seating capacity of 9 passengers and were used for communications flight. Later on in the early 70's they were used as a advanced training (multi-engine) for fixed wing pilots. They were phased out in 1975 and replaced by the Cessna 402B in both roles of multi-engine conversion training and communication flights. This is a repaint of Derek Palmer's excellent Dove (AVSIM: dh104v2.zip).
