File Description:
This is a complete redo of the default FSX CZBB Boundary Airport, BC using ADE v1.37, Google Earth satellite image and the latest airport chart effective as of 31 July 2008. The airport center and boundary repositioned. Control tower moved and replaced. Runway 07/25 extended to 5606 ft from 3540 ft and new taxiway E added. VASI Added to Runway 07/25. Taxiway signs added and/or corrected. Airport aprons resized and added where necessary. Taxiways and roads added. Static airport library objects and vegetation added for an improved look. XWind runways activated. Airport views are from the roof of the control tower when in tower view. A fuel truck has been added - Shift-F will bring this truck to your aircraft for refueling and will automatically refuel AI aircraft after landing and before take off. Airport chart and history included.

IRIS F-14B in VF-103 Jolly Rogers Seasons Greetings Paint Scheme
Aircraft #: AA103
Callsign: Victory 103
Highly detailed repaint including decals and patches as used on
jackets and helmets during the 2000 Christmas Season aboard the
USS George Washington.
High resolution repaint in Black/White/Grey shades with clean
paint and no weathering/wear and tear effects added.Armaments
and stores repainted to live ammunition and Seasons Greetings
decals added to the external fuel tanks.
VF-103, originally the Sluggers, was amalgamated with the VF-84
Jolly Rogers squadron due to downsizing of the fleet during the
early 1990's. The Sluggers lost their name and transitioned to
the Jolly Rogers keeping only the VF-103 squadron designator.
All aircraft were repainted nearly identical to the old VF-84
colours with only a few noticable differences.

CRJ2 -> aim_crj2_air_uganda.zip by Francois Massin.
Note: The utilization percentage of the MD87 is really low, as in reality. Air Uganda prefers to use the CRJ200 as it is more efficient on fuel needs and operating costs.
Load factor is also better on the CRJ200 (50 seats) than on the MD87 (130 seats).
A second CRJ200 should join the fleet early 2010, which presumably will mean the retreat of the MD87. (They already have 2 other non utilized MD87).

This is my rendition of XV741 with tailcode "I" flown by 233 OCU , RAF Wittering circa 1988 .XV741 was the fourth production Harrier and took part in the Transatlantic Air Race in 1969. Modifications include panellines , rivets , squadron badge on flying suit , changed colour of helmet , changed number on GPU and added new bump & spec maps ( where needed ) .
There are however certain limitations with the texture mapping , for example the rear section of the main fuselage is only shown once in the paintkit,so the camouflage pattern is mirrored .One of the flaps is also mirrored above and below the wing,so all camouflage using Light Aircraft Grey undersides aren't shown correctly..The fuel tank has the same problem as certain sections are also mirrored.The camera was only mounted on the port side of the nose,not port and starboard.

This airport update was made with the latest version of ADE (Airport Design Editor) and made for FSX as a replacement for the stock (default) airport. I've made several changes to the airport which are listed below. All these enchancements are as close to the real airport as I can get with stock library objects. I've used satellite images, terminal photos and maps throughout the whole process so building locations are as accurate as possible. Happy landings in scenic Alberta!

| Ontario Small Fields in Canada: #6 Nixon CNX8 |

This is the sixth in a series of small airfields in southern Ontario Canada, Nixon CNX8, an airfield 20 miles south of Brantford and 10 miles north of Lake Erie, just west of the small town of Simcoe. It was not included in FS9 as it did not exist then; I do not know when it was first registered, but it was prior to April 2010 (the date of the oldest copy of the Canada Flight Supplement that I have with me). The airfield has a grass runway of 2,800 feet aligned 12/30, unlit. The owner has a small crop-spraying business, and there are also hangars rented to local plane owners. Fuel and oil is available.
This scenery post is not necessarily complete in itself and presumes you are adding it to the series of Ontario Small Fields.
