SINGAPORE AIRLINES B747-300GE "Big Top" (9V-SKA | 1983) lovingly and fully hand-drawn, created on PMDG B744GE QOTSII v3 for P3Dv4.5 and P3Dv5 simulation.

This entire artwork is classified as freeware (NON-COMMERCIAL USE) as the use of this product is for personal use ONLY.
This livery CANNOT BE INSTALLED USING PMDG Operation Center but instead, it must be installed manually, in order to function properly.

File Description:
N56RK is owned and was built by Robert Kurrle of Spruce Creek Fly-in, Port Orange, Florida. (sounds nice :-) Airworthiness Date:17 Sep 2011. I'm not sure how long after it's first flight that is, wouldn't have been long by the look of it! This aircraft is powered by a Lycoming IO-390-X 210hp. I don't know who painted it, but it was worth the money! Nice one Robert.
Of course, if you want to fly Robert's plane you'll need to own Bay Tower's payware RV7

Fine tuned for each one.

| Northwest Airlines Boeing 747-451 New Colors |

File Description:
Repaint of Project Opensky's (POSKY) excellent Boeing 747-400 aircraft into the new livery of Northwest Airlines. Thank you to Tom Harlaar for letting me use his silver master textures for the fuselage and the engine cowlings. Repaint is semi-photorealistic, ensuring precise accuracy throughout the repaint, and simulating what the actual aircraft looks like in Flight Simulator. The registration of this plane is N676NW, which was the 2nd Northwest 747 to receive the new colors. Repaint includes 32-bit bitmap files for very high detail, a realistic amount of alpha for adding the perfect amount of shine to the aircraft, the mips were removed so the textures are crystal clear and not blurry. Aircraft model features full moving parts including main wheel "bogies", opening doors, animated wingviews, night lighting and more!

This fixes the issue of the original ai aardvark 747-400 visual model being slightly too small. This corrected model is now 2.8 meters longer than the original. A new "aircraft.cfg" is also required in order to place the lights in the correct position on the new larger model. The original upload of the aia 747's also included an earlier version of the .cfg than was intended. This resulted in extremely slow approach speeds. This has also been addressed in the new .cfg file.

File Description:
Boeing 747-400 in Cathay Pacific's "Hong Kong World City" colours as currently worn by B-HOY. Great care has been taken in order to provide an accurate paint along with realistic shadow, shine and reflective effects. For the fantastic Overland SMS (FSPAP) 747 model. These are textures only; the payware models can be found at www.overland.co.jp. The textures are in high quality (32 bit) format but performance is nevertheless strong when using this frame-efficient model. Will work for both FSX and FS9. Enjoy!

In response to several e-mails asking for information about the "invisible runway" technique, I have prepared this Illustrated Tutorial which will guide you step by step in the creation and use of them. Invisible runways can be used to allow start locations and special airports to show in your "go to airport " menu. They also allow them to be displayed on your "nearest airport" listings. Please unzip to a temporary folder - with the folders option checked. Compiled for your flying enjoyment by David "Opa" Marshall.
