File Description: A repaint for the Warbirdsim P-51B in the colors of Mustang Mk.III, HB-837, flown by Leonard Cheshire, CO of the 617th Bomber Squadron ('the Dambusters') to mark targets for his bombers. Like the majority of the RAF's Mk.III Mustangs late in the war, HB-837 is fitted with a Malcolm Hood Canopy. Repaint by Jan Kees Blom.

File Description:
These repaints of the Warwick P-51 package represent the two most recent paint schemes of "Mormon Mustang" seen in 2006 before a crash in Idaho and more recently, 2009 after full restoration. It features accurate, 32-bit markings as seen in several sets of photographs used as reference, and depicts the plane as it was before the accident and in its current scheme. Requires "P51DVER2.ZIP" by Warwick Carter.

P-51D 531st FS Iwo Jima '313

File Description:
P-51D 44-63934 was assigned to 1Lt John F. Galbraith. He joined the 531st FS/21st FG when he was flying p-39's in Hawaii, and converted to the P-38 and P-51. He was credited with killing nine Japanese soldiers on Iwo Jima during the 26 March 1945 banzai raid, before being wouded. He soon returned to the squadron and began flying VLR (very long range) missions. He most vividly recalls strafing Japanese ships that were closing in on a American submarine. He said he flew '313' because everybody else in the 531st FS was too superstitious to go near it. Repaint for the Shockwave WWII Fighters Mustang by Jan Kees Blom, based on paintkit by John Terrell.
