Piaggio P-166M No Co-Pilot Upgrade

File Description:
A little upgrade to remove the copilot figure from the airplane...it looked not that great in the DVC...it was designed for the spot view just...as there's not DVC assembly due to model size limits, it showed up even on the DVC...this removes it completly, making model more frame rate friendly and making it not showing up in your DVC making you have nightmares about Zombies and mummies.

Captain George S Welch P-38H Lightning

File Description:
This skin is the Lockheed P-38H Lightning of Captain George S Welch, of the 80th Fighter Squadron of the 8th Fighter Group, based at Port Moresby, New Guinea, September 1943. Welch scored a total of 16 victories (including 4 during the attack on Pearl Harbor) before he was sent home from New Guinea with an extreme case of malaria. Welch was also the first known pilot to exceed mach 1, flying a prototype F-86 Sabre, albeit in a dive. Thanks to WOLF257 for creating the P-38, and for enhancing our SF WW2 experience. And much thanks go to AVSIM for hosting. I have included a new prop sound file for the loading screen, use it if you want. IMHO it adds to the immersion for your SF ww2 experience.

Piaggio P-180 Paint Kit (Photoshop 7)

Thanks to Andrew Spring of www.p166.com!! Many of you requested me a paint kit for the Piaggio P-180 (MN_p180.zip, available at www.AVSim.com), and here it comes in Photoshop 7 format. You just need to export the files in Photoshop 7 as 32-bit BMPs and then convert to DXT3., then they are ready for the Avanti! INSTRUCTIONS PROVIDED IN README.TXT.Enjoy!

P-51D Mustang "Double Trouble Two" N51EA

File Description:
This is a repaint only for the WWII Fighters P-51D. This aircraft was restored in the early 1980's as "Double Trouble Two", an aircraft of the 353rd Fighter Group, by Don Davidson. In the early 1990's the aircraft was purchased by Max Vogelsang/Swiss Warbirds, and it was operated out of Switzerland for several years. In 2004 the aircraft was purchased by Jerry Yagen for his Fighter Factory of Suffolk, Virginia where it now flies regularly.

USAF P-51D Tuskegee 88 'Little Freddie'

File Description:
This is a repaint for both the WOP P-51D and WWII Fighters P-51D. This aircraft, marked 88 'Little Freddie" was the plane assigned to Captain Freddie Hutchins of the 302nd FS, 332th FG, 15th AF from Ramitelli, Italy. During World War II the US Army practiced a policy of strict segregation of black people, so this Group was entirely manned by black Americans. They were called the Tuskegee Airmen. Their proud claim at the end of the war was that they never lost a single bomber under their escort, which is a tremendous record. Repaints by Jan Kees Blom, based on Shockwave blanks.

P-40B Tomahawk IIb Turkish Air Force

File Description:
Tomahawk MkIIB #3817 of the Turkish Air Force. The TAF obtained 42 Tomahawk IIB's from the RAF Middle East aircraft pool in 1941 and 1942. They had seen extensive service while in the RAF, and thus had a limited service life with the TAF. They were delivered to the 14th Air Battalion, 3rd Air regiment in Gaziemir. In 1943 they were transferred to the 6th Air regiment. In 1944, they were being replaced by Spitfire V's, but soldiered on until late 1946 as trainer aircraft. Their serials with the TAF were 3801 to 3842. Repaint for the A2A P-40 Tomahawk by Jan Kees Blom. I've also included a different camera view point, that works with the A2A P-40.
