Globespan Airways' Low-Cost Carrier (LCC) FlyGlobeSpan is based in Edinburgh, Scotland. They are known as "Scotland's Low Fares Airline", and they operate 11 Boeing 737 airliners, of which 3 are 737-800s. This is a repaint of G-DLCH, which was delivered to FlyGlobeSpan on the 22nd of April, 2005, just 7 days after she made her first flight. She is FlyGlobeSpan's 2nd 737-800. File Description:
This file is the second sample of "Old Time Radio" with an added "shortwave effect".
It is an mp3, sampled at 96kbps and is monophonic. Details of the full-size (11 minute, 7.6Mb) file are given below. The sample (one minute) comes from part of a musical radio show - featuring a very popular orchestra from the 1950's - and is intended to give you a taste of the full-length version which is ideal for those who fly aircraft set in the 1930's through to the early 1960's. Readme is enclosed.

File Description:
When Deutsche Lufthansa signed the contract to develop the prototype of the FW200 Condor on 16 July 1936, Focke Wulf's top designer Kurt Tank bet two cases of champaign to have the prototype flying within twelve months. He lost by 11 days: the first flight of the FW200 took place on 27 July 1937! After extensive testing it was decided to demonstrate the plane's capacities and to raise publicity with a number of spectacular long-distance flights from Berlin to Cairo, to Tokyo, to New York and to Rio de Janeiro.

Volaris is a mexican low cost carrier based in Toluca, México. Actually operating some logojets, this one, reg XA-VOA, has a Krispy Kreame Doughnuts logo on the fuselage. Volaris is now serving donuts in the flights before 11:00 as new service on board. The aircraft model includes most of the standard features including animated control surfaces, wingviews, flaps, full lighting configuration, highly detailed, reflective textures, and dynamic shine. The textures depict the FW190A-8/R2 flown by Lt. Werner Gerth, of 11(Sturm)/JG 3, July 1944. This repaint was made based on the excellent paintkit by Alessandro Biaggi, which is included in the Classics Hangar FW190A late variants package. Historical tail marking are included. All the necessary files are included, the Sounds and Panel are aliased to the default 737. TAROM has a fleet of 26 aircraft including 11 737s, 4 737-300s, 4 737-700s, and 3 737-800s. Their fleet also has 7 ATR 42s, 2 ATR 72s, 4 Airbus A318s and 2 Airbus A310-300s. Enjoy your flying!

Combined with an all-new FDE set by the venerable Mike MacIntyre, this should be a nice addition to anybody's retro AI world. File Description:
Fuerza Aerea Uruguaya C-47A-30-DK T-512, C/N 25392 built a Oklahoma City production plant for the USAAF as 43-48131. In service 22/11/60, retired 16/7/74, fuselage preserved at the B.Paracaidistas No.14. The base textures for repainting are by Mark Beaumont, original textures are by Jan Visser. Repainted by Daniel Nole. In order to use these textures, you must already have the MAAM-SIM payware DC3 and the MAAM-SIM D-Day C-47 'Skytrain' and Dakota Mk III Expansion Pack installed in your FS2004 aircraft folder.

File Description:
A repaint of IFDG's great Airbus A321. This aircraft is currently operating with EgyptAir. I’ve chosen this registration because this was the aircraft I flew in on my way back from my trip to Germany in September 2002. I flew from Düsseldorf to Cairo. We took-off 3.5 hours late (happens to me all the time) from RWY23L, arrived to Cairo at 11:30 PM on RWY5R. It was my second ever EgyptAir international flight, but I really enjoyed it. Cheers to a crew member who got me a lot of juice :)

File Description:
This is a repaint of the DC-3 in All Nippon Airways ANA 1960 colors. The freeware DC-3/C-47 v3 by Manfred Jahn is needed for this repaint. ANA was a result of a merger between two small airlines. The merged fleet included Douglas DC-3s which flew for 6 years with the airline before being retired in 1964. At their peak, there were 11 DC-3s in service with ANA in 1962. Textures are DXT5. This repaint was tested on FSX-SE and should work on FSX & P3D v1-3.
