File Description:
This sound.cfg replaces the one uploaded in August 2008. Both the interior and exterior sounds have been improved. Please replace the sound.cfg you already downloaded by this new one. In my search for a good sound for the Douglas DC-6/-6A/-6B/-6C, XC-112A/YC-112A, VC-118, the C-118A/R6D-1 series and the Canadair C-5, I struck on the fabulous soundpack for the beautiful Douglas A-26 Invader of Milton Shupe and the Sim-Outhouse Team, made by David C. Copley. Most of the wav-files in this soundpack are recordings of the Pratt & Whitney Double Wasp R-2800 engines of an A-26 Invader. Having studied the Invaders sound pack, I discovered that by ‘tweaking’ the sound.cfg, particularly with regard to the exterior sounds, it became possible to develop a good exterior DC-6 sound (4 engines). No changes were made to the wav-files, as I didn’t want to modify them; the
wav-files just sound wonderful. In order to make your system reproduce the DC-6 sound, first download from www.sim-outhouse.com the great Douglas A-26 Invader package and enjoy flying that plane. Then copy the sound pack of the A-26 to the DC-6, and replace the existing sound.cfg by the revised one you just downloaded. This DC-6 sound has been tested in FS2004 only. Special thanks to David C. Copley who gave his permission to upload the modified sound.cfg as freeware, with limited distribution, at Sim-Outhouse.com and Avsim.com. Martinair Boeing 747-21AC/SCD 1998 textures for retro AI traffic, with 3 variations, utlizing the FAIB 747-200 GE model set. These two aircraft were not in the original release I did, and I am adding an additional (3rd) texture, the 1988 Qantas lease of PH-MCF. This package includes FS9 32-bit and FSX/P3D 2048 DDS DXT5 textures. Aircraft model and master paint kit by Erez Weber, repaints by Michael Pearson.

Texture only. You need "fsc_atr72500_v101.zip) by Francisco Sánchez-Castañer. This is the repaint of original aircraft ATR72-500 by Francisco Sánchez-Castañer. Registration HS-TRA named LAMPANG. This is the fictitious 2005 livery. Thai Airways has only 2 ATR72-201 in its operation, mainly used in the flights between Chiang Mai (VTCC) and Mae Hong Son (VTCH), the northern provinces of Thailand. Textures were saved in 32 bitmaps with Alpha channel.

| Cubana Airlines Yak-42D (CU-T 1243) Version 2 |

File Description:
I originally released this repaint in early April 2007. Although the result was nice, there was room for improvement. So after getting valuable feedback from some fellow simmers and deciding the colors of my original repaint did not match most of the Cubana AI aircraft, I decided to redo my original repaint of this spectacular model and release it as a Version 2. So here it is; V2.
The following are the changes/improvements in this version; (1) closer color matching to actual Cubana livery and (most) Cubana AI aircraft, (2) improved over and under wing registration textures, (3) corrected tail texture (missing 2nd white stripe), (4) repositioned Cuban flag on the forward section of the fuse, (5) changed font of the tail registration, and (6) changed the wheel colors to be whiter as on the real bird. As with my original, this is a "textures only" package, you must have the Lviv Yak42 Group & Samdim Design Yak-42 base package available here at AVSIM. These are detailed 32-bit textures.
