Ejercito del Aire Northrop F-5 Freedom Fighter for AI traffic. This cheap, small, and lightweight multi-role aircraft was meant for export from the start, and with 36 user countries it is the Western version of the MiG-21 in terms of proliferation. Late examples still serve in several air forces world-wide, nearly fifty years after its introduction. A 7-LOD re-build from Jake Burrus' original F-5 model brings this historic aircraft to the flightsim world. This package represents the CASA-built SF-5A, SF-5B, and SRF-5A in the service of the Ejercito del Aire; with a total of 26 models and 60 repaints. Original aircraft model and textures by Jake Burrus, re-build by Michael Pearson, flight dynamics by Michael MacIntyre.

Scenery consists of Updated Terrain Vector data concerning Coastlines, rivers, dams, streams, roads, traffic, railroads, power lines and extrusion bridges for Southern Africa countries South of the Equator. The data around Kroonstad, Welkom, Kitty Hawk Aerodrome, Middelburg, Ermelo (South Africa) and smaller detail in other parts of Africa was updated by utilizing Satellite image backgrounds. This scenery is important and will be needed with release of future scenery by Aeroworx. Please install the previous release fsxWorx01 and updates 1 to 4 before this file.

North American F-100 Super Sabre (Part 5). This aircraft, also known as the Hun, was the first of a long success of Century Series fighter aircraft during the 1950s and 1960s. I present a comprehensive 8-LOD AI traffic model for this cold warrior of military jet history, utilizing original source material from Jake Burrus. Going into production in 1953, 2,294 aircraft served thirty-five years in the USAF and the air forces of France, Turkey, Denmark, and Taiwan. The F-100 was originally designed as a daytime air superiority fighter (with all-cannon armament); but evolved into a capable light attack aircraft which served extensively in Vietnam. An original 8-LOD model brings this historic aircraft to the flightsim world. This package represents the F-100A/C/D/F in the entirety of its export service with the Armee d' la Air, Royal Danish Air Force, Republic of China Air Force, and the Turk Hava Kuvvetleri; with 14 models and 112 repaints. This is a repaint for the payware A2A Simulations AT-6 Texan. This repaint depicts the restored SNJ-5 BuNo. 91008 registered as N276RB to B & B Warbird Aviation Inc. This aircraft was originally produced in 1943 as an AT-6D with the USAAF serial number 44-81471 before being re-designated and re-assigned to the US Navy. The aircraft was restored in the 1980's, and was owned for a time by Robert Baranaskas (Warbirds Over Long Island), before being sold to its current owner/pilot, Buzz Cortese. The aircraft is a common site at airshows on the east coast/New England region of the United States.

File Description:
This is a repaint for the payware A2A Simulations AT-6 Texan. This repaint depicts the restored SNJ-5 BuNo. 85061, registered as G-CHIA, based at White Waltham airfield in the UK. This aircraft originally served in the US Navy from 1945 until 1954, at which time it was one of 12 SNJ's loaned to the then newly formed Japanese Maritime Self Defense Force. In 1977, the aircraft was returned to the US Navy and it was subsequently sold into the civilian market, becoming N9012Y in early 1979. By 1984 the aircraft was restored, painted in the markings of an early 1950's Oakland NAS based SNJ. After changing hands/locations a couple of times while still in the US, first to Corvallis, OR in 1997, and then later to Skagit Regional Airport north of Seattle in 2001, the aircraft was sold to the UK-based The Warplane Flying Co., first flying from Duxford, England in November 2012.

Two repaints for the Flight Replicas Messerschmitt Bf 109K in the colors of yellow 5, an aircraft of 2./JG 52, which was captured by the Americans in Ainring in Southern Germany (paint 1). A repaint for the Aerosoft PBY-5 Catalina in the colors of PBY-5 (Bu08450) NZ4012 XX-N 'The Naughty Nine" of the RNZAF, as it looked while flying with FltLt Guy Rogers and crew from the Solomon Islands in 1945 with 6 Flying Boat Squadron. Following Japan's entry into the war in December 1941, the RNZAF had to switch from primarily training pilots to Europe into a combat force. No. 6 Squadron RNZAF was formed as an army co-operation unit at Milson in February 1942 flying Vickers Vildebeest and Hawker Hind aircraft. At the same time, No. 5 Squadron RNZAF moved to Fiji with Short Singapores and Vickers Vildebeest and Vincent biplanes. Modern maritime patrol flying boats (and more Hudson light bombers) were requested under Lend Lease and when the first Consolidated Catalinas arrived a detachment of men from No. 5 Squadron was assigned to convert to these types as No. 6 Squadron. Before the squadron was officially formed these men successfully completed their first air-sea rescue of a downed US aircrew. From May 1943 No. 6 squadron undertook action against the Japanese. The Squadron also conducted search and rescue missions for allied aircrew and seamen, and undertook many open sea rescues. XX-N arrived in Fiji on 20 june 1943. It was declared surplus to requirements in 1951, and was broken up in Hobsonville in 1952.
