The airfield was 7.5 miles (12.1 km) east of Stafford[6] and bounded at the west and north by railways.
After opening in 1942, it served as a base for No. 30 Operational Training Unit and, after the OTU left up until its
closure in 1957, it served as a satellite site for No. 16 Maintenance Unit based at RAF Stafford.

Horizon fly to almost 50 destinations across the north west of the USA and into Canada using Bombardier Q400 turboprops. This repaint of N401QX was made as a result of requests on the Majestic Software forums.

For those who have downloaded my Aspen scenery (Aspen_Pitkin.zip) for FSX and P3D, and are using UTX, this is an exclusion file that will will remove the trees from the north tarmac. Simply drop the included bgl file into your KASE/scenery folder. If you are not having issues with trees appearing on the northern tarmac, then you do not need this file.
