An example of how the new MF Version 5.x can use SRTM data. A goodly sized square of Welsh hills! Raw Data by Nasa, JPL. Thanks guys, nice job. Quickly converted (about 2 minutes max) by Ian Hay, using 3dem (great feeware, thanks guys, nice handy program). Textures are the default MF ones but darkened by 50% in photoshop and included to show how to use a "local" texture folder when making your own scenery.

File Description:
This is a group of files that I made. These are a bunch of fictional airports on an island off the northwestern coast of Haiti, of which I have put all of the airport city names under "North Haiti". I have also redone "Port De Paix" airport (MTPX), and this is a good place to start at.
NOTE: I have made these airports from scratch, and have matched them with the default terrain and scenery there.

Cleveland Hopkins Intl. Airport for FSX. Several improvements were made, including: Adding more default FSX jetways; assigning all gates to specific airlines using Afcad2; rebuilding the vehicle roads, which prevents airport vehicles from accessing the taxiways, which can result in traffic delays; editing settings so that as long as the scenery complexity slider in FSX is set at Normal or higher, all jetways will be visible at this airport; and adding several fuel trucks to service departing aircraft faster.

Of course its not perfect but it looks and works fine, especially with "World of AI" - Ai Traffic! With gate assignment (including three heavy spots for Lufthansa Service in May 2008!!!), different taxiway surfaces, runway-overrun areas in the west and remote stands near closed rwy 15/33

Note this mission is aimed to 'beginner' level and is designed to work best with Real NZ Wellington and Marlborough scenery installed, additional repaints are required for other default FSX aircraft used in this mission, please read the README for full details on these.

It will be required to use either default scenery or other downloads for KNTU - NAS Oceana, Virginia. Aircraft are not included in this download.

The airpark is situated immediately southwest of the Big Cypress National Preserve, and is surrounded on three sides by the waters of Everglades National Park.
