This folder contains a repaint for the Ryan ST-A by A1R Design Bureau. It shows Ryan ST-M NACA96, c/n 180, as it was used by NACA, the predecessor of the NASA at its Langley Memorial Aeronautical Laboratory, for research on flaps, slats and internally balanced ailerons in between 1938 and 1947. An example of how the new MF Version 5.x can use SRTM data. A goodly sized square of Welsh hills! Raw Data by Nasa, JPL. Thanks guys, nice job. Quickly converted (about 2 minutes max) by Ian Hay, using 3dem (great feeware, thanks guys, nice handy program). Textures are the default MF ones but darkened by 50% in photoshop and included to show how to use a "local" texture folder when making your own scenery.

File Description:
United Airlines registration number N145UA repaint for Mike Stone's B747-SP. United Airlines received many B747-SP from Pan Am, however only N145UA (formerly Clipper Lindberg) received the 90's grey top livery. The same airplane is currently in service with NASA, presumably with registration N747NA.
100% hand painted, all MIPS removed for best clarity, and provided in DXT3 format for maximum framerate friendliness. You will need to download the original model at www.pmstone.com. TEXTURE ONLY.

File Description:
Beta Release 4. This version includes a panel and severla fixes. This add-on is based on Dr. Stanley K. Borowski's paper titled "2001: A Space Odyssey Revisited" and my interpretation of paintings by NASA artist Pat Rawlings. Dr. Borowski proposes that the development of two key technologies -- liquid oxygen (LOX)-augmented nuclear thermal rocket (NTR) propulsion and lunar oxygen mining -- could form the basis of a lunar transportation system capable of providing weekly 24-hour flights to the Moon.

File Description:
These textures will improve the appearance of the Earth when zoomed out in Top Down View. They are the same size as default, so framerates will not be affected at all. A daytime and a nighttime texture set are included, but unfortunately only one can be displayed on the Earth at once. The daytime image was created from NASA true-color satellite imagery, making the Earth appear very realistic. The nightime photo was created from worldwide light and reflectivity maps. Download and enjoy!

The Fokker S14 Mach-trainer was the first purpose designed and built, side by side seated, jet trainer. First Flight 19 May 1951. Only 20 were built and used by the Royal Netherlands Air Force from 1955 till 1967. This release offer you a complete AI package including the aircraft and some traffic and AFCAD files. Paint Schemes presented here are for all known schemes ever applied to the Fokker S-14 and include the RNLAF, Prototype and NLR liveries. Features animated landing gear, flight controls, lights, canopy and ground services. By David Wooster and Emile Lancee.
Compatible with both FSX/P3D.
