File Description:
DBWsim proudly presents Greystone airfield, centrepiece of the Jumbolair estate which is home to John Travolta. The airfield has been extensively redeveloped, realistically portraying the area. The estate section of the field is also accurately covered including detailed scenery of the Travolta house. A localised landclass optimises the appearance of the area. Some areas have been extrapolated based on the best available information and to take into account future development of the estate.

Fairchild C-82A Packet (Project Phoenix)

File Description:
First and foremost, this aircraft package is dedicated to the memory of the late Paul Mantz, a veteran stunt pilot who gave his life in the making of the 1965, 20th Century Fox movie, “Flight of the Phoenix” starring James Stewart and a strong cast of other well known actors. This package contains not only the C-82 Packet, but, as a special feature, “The Phoenix” as well. For those of you who have not seen this classic, you are missing a real jewel. It can still be obtained in VHS or DVD at www.amazon.com I highly recommend it. The C-82 comes in three paint schemes, U.S.A.F., Bush Flying Unlimited, and of course, Arabco Oil. The Phoenix is painted as it was in the movie. Both aircraft have excellent panels built by K. Mitchell and the C-82 possesses a very nice virtual cockpit on par with that found in the C-119; previously released. These are DXT-3 textures with no mip-maps to preserve image clarity. I chose this format in the attempt to maintain a minimal upload/download package size. I will be following up with individual texture replacement packages in 32-bit for those who wish them. I hope you enjoy this flightsim model as much as I did putting this package together. I could not have done so without the excellent help and work of Daisuke Yamamoto, Herb Morse, K. Included in this package are a Sikorsky S43 amphibian in Inter-Island colors, an S43 in PanAm colors, two Kellet autogyros and three Ford panel trucks to explore the local scenery! Also included is complete replacement scenery that portrays the islands as they did in the mid to late 1930s! This scenery is activated by a special program that allows you to choose between flying in either modern or golden age Hawaii. You can play the role of Air Line Captain with your own flight crew to fly the various scheduled and special flights for Inter-Island Airways or you can be the star flying reporter for a Honolulu newspaper with your Kellet Autogyro! The scenery is representative of Johnston Atoll circa 1995, as today there is virtually nothing on the island, not even an airstrip. Highlights of the scenery are numerous and include; the main street, golf course and outdoor cinema, and Munitions Demilitarization facilities.

AS 350 Ecureuil

File Description:
The AS.350 was developed by Aerospatiale in the early 1970s, an Avco Lycoming powered prototype first flying on 27 June 1974, followed by a Turbomeca Arriel version on 14 February 1975. Customer deliveries of the Ecureuil (Squirrel) began in April 1978.nThe Ecureuil was intended to replace the Alouette, and to compete with the Bell 206. The type represents one of Europe's most successful civil helicopter designs, and has found numerous overseas markets. It was also produced as the AS.550 Fennec military helicopter.
