GPS Viewer 1.0 Beta

File Description:
A companion to BlackBox2, GPS Viewer is a simple utility that generates xml code to display selected Microsoft Flight Simulator GPS variables while flying. It does not create a stand-alone gauge. Instead, the generated code must be pasted into the xml code of a host gauge that communicates with the gps.dll module. GPS Viewer generates xml code in either FS9 or ACES format, and can be used with either FS9/2004 or FSX. It is a Microsoft Excel 2003 application that contains macros to drive Excel User Forms. It requires the fixed-width font, Courier New, which should be standard in a Windows installation. Follow directions on the Instructions Worksheet.

Default Scenery Objects - Viewer

File Description:
FSX - Scenery Objects - Viewer This viewer presents pictures in thumbnails and larger versions of all FSX default objects including autogen. Each object is viable as a thumbnail and by clicking on the thumbnail this will pull up a larger image of the object. All objects can be sorted by Category, GUID and alphabetical. This is very useful for working with Instant scenery and EZScenery object placing programs. The thumbnail images for all available 3D objects in FSX. Images have been generated automatically, so they may not be perfect, and some of them are totally out of bounds. Some others are not textured or invisible due to bad models or fancy reference points. Note that geolocked objects (most landmarks) are not present since you cannot use them safely in your own scenery.

Moving Ground Objects Viewer / Editor

File Description:
Moving Ground Objects in FU3 are independent of the Megatile name and just defined using the UTM coordinates. So far it must be possible to go even outside the region rectangle. The models are moving on the surface but can go in the air or underground also. All moving objects are defined in movgrobj.dat files placed in the model subfolder of each scenery package or for the hard coded objects in the /models folder of the region. Using this utility you can - Load and view the FLED movgrobj.dat as tree view. - Sort the Objects by Object name, Model name or Index - Clone the selected Object, then edit to modify the Object Name - Edit the Parameter on the selected Object as inside FLED - Move the Object Path to another location - Generate a simple long distance path or spiral path - Selecting by check mark the Objects you want save in the movgrobj.dat file - Save the result back to movgrobj.dat or another file as binary backup - Export a tab separated list of the entries usable in MS-EXCEL or MS-Access - Export a single Object in a .mgo file for an Import into another movgrobj.dat file - Now you can create a collection of single moving ground objects stored in .mgo files

Airport Editor / Viewer for FU3

File Description:
Actually there is not a lot to edit, more to view but the edit function can move the full airport with all nodes and lines and lights at once to a new location referenced by the blue square UTM coordinates and height. Move of just a little bit is possible also. The Duxford package has been moved from UKS region to SanFran region in 1 minutes :-) Analyze a single airport or the full game region with all airports in the regions/airports the /packages and the /outterr folder generating a global list of values like runway, parking spots, frequencies, sound names and more. You can lock at an selected airport with the tree view.
