| North Central Boeing 757-200 |
|
File Description:
This repaint is of Mike Stone's gMax Boeing 757-200 in the long-gone "North Central Airlines" livery, and as these are textures only, you will need to download that model. I remember North Central flying into the local airport when I was a kid. They were gone by the time the 757 rolled out, of course, but this is my best guess what the aircraft might have looked like in their livery. If you use EditVoicePack there is included the file to add to your ATC. This was such fun, I think I might paint a whole fleet of aircraft that North Central never flew!

| Mars Atmosphere Enhancement for Orbiter |
|
File Description:
This is a cloud texture and new Mars.Cfg (must be renamed) to give Mars dynamic clouds. While Mars does not have any water for clouds, it is known that severe dust storms on the planet can send dust into the atmosphere for days. The original Mars in Orbiter does not have any dust clouds, but this enhancement simulates the dust in the atmosphere. Since they are dynamic, you can have clear skys one day, and a dust cloud passing overhead the next.
When you land or launch from Mars, you now get the feeling that you are passing through an "atmosphere". It's a pretty neat view.

| Soviet Soyuz Tanker |
|
File Description:
Based upon an early proposal for a Soyuz upper stage that was to be used as a refuelling vessel for long duration missions. This upper stage can refuel any docked vessel with up to two different propellant resources; the capacity of the tank can be configured in the scenario file, using a default value of 6000 kg. Using higher values is not advised since it may compromise the capability of the launch vehicle to lift this stage into orbit.
This version introduces particle exhaust and a fix to the guidance algorithm that allows for multiple simultaneous launches.

| Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International (KFLL) |
|
File Description:
This is an AFCAD file for Fort Lauderdale. This file has the larger planes utilizing RWY 9R/27L for take-offs, and 9L/27R for landing. This also has the smaller planes taking off and landing on RWY 13/31. All runways are used in this file. It's really neat to see planes on all runways, and watching them line-up for RWY 9L and 13. This file requires AFCAD and TTools by Lee Swordy, which may be downloaded at Avsim.com. This file also requires patience. There are three sets of intstructions to help you get this airport into your system. E-mail me if you experience problems.

Soon after takeoff you will be heading towards the hills and a climb into the snow capped peaks of the Himalayas. Vertical clearances are minimal; parts of this flight still scare me! A VFR finals is featured (hand holding instructions given). The flight briefing (Word and text) is for a B737-400, it contains climb, cruise, top of descent and fuel loading details, waypoint timings and destination details.
