Island Air Flightplans - Winter 2005/2006. Island Air is Hawaii’s leading regional carrier. Island Air currently operates 88 daily flights, with service to all eight of Hawaii’s major airports – in Honolulu and on the islands of Molokai, Lanai, Maui (Kahului and Kapalua), Kauai (Lihue), and on the “Big Island” of Hawaii (Kona and Hilo). Island Air operates a fleet of eight 37-seat de Havilland DASH-8 turboprop aircraft. Includes all scheduled weekly flights.

Here is an AFCAD file for Johnston Atoll in the Pacific. This airport is situated in the pacific ocean, west of
Hawaii. The runway has been slightly extended, parking for aircraft upto B747/A340 size has also been added. This makes an ideal pacific stopover or diversion airport. Also in this package is a traffic file and voicepack updates for the airport. This is meant for the FS2004 Johnston Atoll scenery by DBWSim (dbwsimjohnston2k2.zip).

We make stops in New Zealand (6), New Caledonia (2) and Vanuatu (2). The King Air 350 gets us going in this pack and in a latter leg bounces around like a pinball with thunderstorms in the vicinity. The Concorde did very well in landing in such choppy air but enough to make any passenger scared. We are now doing some Pacific Island hopping then it’s onto Hawaii! Hang in there, lots more miles to fly…

File Description:
FSX and FS2004 Martin 130 Clipper.
The Martin 130 flying boat were used for Pan American for the first airliner service across the Pacific Ocean.
The route was San Francisco - Manila via Hawaii, Midway Island, Wake Island and Guam. Only three M130s were built, and NC14716 'China Clipper' was the first, serving with PanAm from 1935 to 1942, when it was taken over by the U.S. Navy. The model works with FS2004, FSX and FSX SP2.

File Description:
This is a repaint of PMDG's excellent P-8A Poseidon. These textures represent a P-8A of the United States Navy as it could appear as member of VP-4, "Skinny Dragons" at Marine Corps Base Hawaii. This scheme is presently fictitious. VP-4 has not received any Poseidons as of yet. When they do it may or may not appear as these textures represent. The textures are those of an artist interpretation and resulting rendition. THESE ARE TEXTURES ONLY! You need the PMDG "737 NGX 800/900 Base Pack" payware package for FSX with SP1d or the newly released Prepar3D version.
The textures work in FSX and Prepar3D.

File Description:
A high quality AFCAD2 for Honolulu Int'l Airport (PHNL). Only for use with the freeware scenery by Bill Melichar (honov5.zip). The file is built from scratch using the latest FAA charts, various photographs and information from the airport website, in order to be as near real as possible. All taxiways are named as per real life and runway lengths are 100% accurate. All Airline gates are named as per real life and have the correct airlines assigned to them. Using the crosswind runway technique, all runways are now active for use at the same time. The Air Freight Terminal, to the west of the airport is also featured, with parking assignments for the cargo carriers that use it. Hickham AFB parking is included, consisting of a Military Combat area, Military Cargo area and airline gates for troop charter flights. Maintenance parking for Air Pacific, Aloha Airlines and Hawaiian airlines jets can be found on the south ramp area. An extensive GA area can also be found on the south ramp, and can accomodate any privately owned aircraft ranging from Cessna to Boeing 747. It is recommended (but not necessary) that you also download the freeware "Hickam AFB" scenery by Derek and Brendan Webb (dbwsimhickam04.zip) as it greatly enhances the appearance of the Air Force Base. This file has been extensively tested and all AI flows as it should. New in this release are updated gate assignments for new airlines that recently started to serve Honlulu, plus updated parking for new cargo carriers. Previous version of this file had over 2000 downloads. Enjoy!!

If you have Carenado's fabulous C208B Grand Caravan and you love Hawaii, then you may wish to d/l Bill Womack's beautiful Mokulele Airlines repaint (I highly recommend ALL of Bill's work!). The only disappointment you'll have? Flight Simulator has no Mokulele ATC voice! Mokulele's callsign is "Speedbuggy", and I tried my best to make this sound legit. At least it sounds better than nothing, right? Download, install, load up your Mokulele Carenado Caravan and take some tourists and commuters for a ride in style!
