File Description:
Sectional chart chunks made from the August 2009 Sectional charts at the original scale, formatted in the WGS84 lat/long geographic coordinate system for the FSMap, moving map application for flight simulation use. The chart chunks are the full sectional divided by 2 tiles (east/west) and converted to baseline 8bit tiffs with packbits compression applied. The images average 6,000x6,000 pixels at about 25mb each, also included is the FSMap fsm Calibration file for importing. No further calibration is needed, just import, save, and enjoy.

De Havilland DH-83 Fox Moth.
The DH.83 Fox Moth was designed in late 1931 as a low cost and economical light passenger aircraft. Many components including the engine, tail plane, fin, rudder and wings were identical to those being used for the de Havilland DH.82 Tiger Moth then being built in large quantities as a military trainer.
FSDS3 Model,3 Versions Contains usual animations including Folding Wings. Also Contains VC and reflective textures.

| Dutch Harbor Sectional Chart Chunks Optimized For Moving Map Application |

File Description:
Sectional chart chunks made from the August 2009 Sectional charts at the original scale, formatted in the WGS84 lat/lon geographic coordinate system for GPS, moving map application for flight simulation use.
These chart chunks were converted to the JPEG format for compatibility and size. Coverage is the full Sectional area North and South divided into JPEG tiles. They are about 3k x 3k pixels at 2.5mb with coverage of 90nm x 130nm per tile. Included is also the projection files and world files. **Includes the Pribilof Islands map chunk.

I have always associated Nome with the Iditarod Trail Sled Dog Race of which I read first as a teenager some twenty years ago. The outpost really doesn´t make the news all that often. Do you plan to fly around the globe? Fairbanks - Nome may be your last leg on the American continent. If you don´t: "FAA urges all pilots operating in the Bering Strait area to take utmost precaution to avoid Russion airspace."
While it can be used "as is" without any other software, it will develop its full potential if used as moving map with SimSystem´s FSFlightMax or FSGarmin.

Search the library for some third party terrain mesh and a screenshot utility and be prepared for spectacular sunsets. You may use this 5500*4200 pixel chart "as is" without any other software, but it will develop its full potential if used as moving map with SimSystem´s FSFlightMax or FSGarmin. Fly eastbound from Phoenix and visit Area 51 and Roswell (where SETI was "born"), Alamogordo, White Sands National Monument, Trinity Site (where the Manhattan Project tested the first nuclear device), Albuquerque (the state´s capital city), Lincoln County (where Billy the Kid was shot), the Mescalero Reservation (great skiing at Sierra Blanca south of the White Mountain Wilderness Area) and Capitan, Birthplace of Smokey the Bear. Flying VFR in this kind of countryside isn´t easy, as there aren´t all that many landmarks to rely on. Maybe this chart is of some assistance to you. You may use it "as is" without any other software, but it will develop its full potential if used as moving map with SimSystem´s FSFlightMax or FSGarmin.
