This folder contains a repaint for the A2A Wings of Power III P-47D Thunderbolt, representing P-47D-20-RE #67 "Miss-Milovin'" of the 65th FS/ 57th FG, as flown by Captain Al Welbes from Alto, Corsica, late 1944. The aircraft was shot down in March 1945, with Lt. Clarence 'Rip' Hewitt becoming PoW. Repaint by Jan Kees Blom, based on the paintkit by Martin Catney.

These textures depict the Messerschmitt Bf109E-3 in an unusual camouflage pattern, flown by an unknown pilot from 2.(j)LG2 (Lehrgeschwader) during the Balkan campaign during spring 1941. Repaint for the A2A Wings of Power III Spitfire by Jan Kees Blom, based on the paintkit by Martin Catney: Spitfire Mk IIa P7509 MN-N flew with No.350 (Belgian) Squadron between december 1941 and march 1942, when the squadron converted to Mk.V's. Previously, P7509 flew with No.308 (Polish) Sqn, and was used by Sgt. Zielinski to shoot down a Me109 near St.Omer on 12 july 1941.

Repaint for the A2A Wings of Power III Spitfire by Jan Kees Blom, based on the paintkit by Martin Catney: Supermarine Spitfire IIa P7981 was damaged in august 1941 in an emergency landing in Yorkshire while flying with 145 sqn and struck off charge. Persistent rumors state that the aircraft was subsequently repaired and used by Prince Bernhard of the Netherlands as his personal aircraft until 1944. As such, it may have looked like this.

File Description:
Tomahawk MkIIB AM392 of 250 Squadron, flown by Australian pilot Sgt Bob Whittle, Egypt August-October 1941. "Nux Vomica" (deadly poison) was the name given to this aircraft by Sgt Whittle, who used it to shoot down a Me109. The aircraft was later used by the SAAF until it was struck off charge on 1 july 1943. Repaint for the A2A P40 Tomahawk by Jan Kees Blom, using the paintkit by Martin Catney.

Repaints only for the FSX A2A Simulations (Shockwave) P-40 Tomahawk. Repaint by Rick Spork, based on the repaint kit by Martin Catney.
Hawk 81-a2 Number '88' flown by 3rd Squadron Flight Kenneth A.Jernstedt, Kunming, China 1942.
He flew P-40B's and P-40E's in combat in Burma and China and participated in the first air battles over Rangoon on December 23 and 25, 1941. He would become the AVG's fifth-ranking ace with 10.5 kills.
