MSFS 2020 Version. Detailed user manual included. For each aircraft control surface selected, AxisViewer will show the position of the joystick axis attached to the control surface, and the actual position of the control surface according to the simulator. The benefits are: * Positive feedback on Control Surface Position. Ever ask yourself "Self, just what is that autopilot/autothrottle doing, anyway?!" * Allow you to manually adjust the Axis Positions to match the Control Surface Positions, so that you don't get a nasty surprise (for example, sudden change in thrust) when the autopilot and/or autothrottle is disengaged. * Verification of joystick functioning and range of motion. * Clear indication of when "dead zones" are entered. You will see the Control Surface Position "snap" to a particular value as the Axis Position approaches the dead zone.

This is the plane that is involved with US Airways' last flight in Oct. 17, 2015. No one has painted it yet so I did.
I added a folder inside the texture titled "With Alpha". It is for FSX / P3D users that allows the antenna in the top of the aircraft to disappear.
The wheel rims are made by "dm6" from the X-Plane Forums!
Thank you to "Mike_V" for letting me borrowing his "US Airways Merger Sticker" from his livery to mine! Visit his profile for other repaints he made for MSFS 2020 / 2024!!

A brand new Gmax model of An-2t. Features all the best ever created for this legendary machine in MSFS! And today it finally comes with fully detailed and 100% compatible 3D model. This is the very first realize and includes extremely realistic panel and gauges, real an-2 sounds, 3D model with DVC and cabin, 2 liveries, astonishing dynamic fx, very accurate flight dynamics, documentation (sorry, but only necessary things were translated into English). Blank textures included - for ease of repainting. Exterior LOD has 20.000 polys and interior is close to 11.000, but generally model is framerate-friendly. Average FPS are up to 30 at AMD 1300 with GF2 64Mb at 1024x268x16 with max detail in sparse scenery and around 10-15 in dense. Some improvements are required - but work will continue.

File Description:
FS5/FS98 useable planes and AFX.
This are the reminders left over on my harddisk since I have cancelled aircraft design for MSFS.
The old stuff may be still useful for some simmers and designers, either upgrade them or use as is.
Some have not been released to major FS sites for download.
The pack contains some gliders (FS29TF, Fafnir and KA4), experimental aircraft (CV-173 and Do212)
and a not yet flying jet trainer the MAKO or AT-2000.
I think with todays design tools there would be a much better chance to cover the characteristic
and animation required. So I leave it to the next generation of designers to check it out.
Model/AFX, Textures and FD released as public domain.

File Description:
This application is a generic General Aviation aircraft instrument panel for use with FS2004 and FS2002. It may work with FS2000 as well, but I haven't got a copy to test it with.
The program displays a GA type IFR instrument panel on a second computer via Pete Dowson's WideFS. It can also be used on a second monitor on the same computer as a replacement for the MSFS panel, but this is not it's intended use.
The panel is written without any use of 3D acceleration or OpenGL, so it will work on any computer capable of running Windows 95 or better. It has been tested and runs fine on a PII 133 with 8MB of RAM and a 4MB video card. Put that cheap old laptop to use as a seperate instrument panel!

This PDF-document gives a deeper view at the flight dynamics model incorporated in Microsoft Flight Simulator 2004 and FSX.
It mainly analyzes the interactions between the parameters in the airplane configuration files (aircraft.cfg and *.air) with focus on forces (lift, drag, side force) and turning moments (pitch, roll, yaw). It describes the relevant parameters and summarizes the findings in text, formulas and tables. It is intended as an addition to the MS SDK. The findings are all based on many flight tests in FS2004 and FSX. The target readers are FDE designers of add-on planes who already have some basic knowledge about the modeling of flight dynamics in MSFS (such as stability derivatives). This is freeware. Please read the document for legal notes and credits.

This is a rebuild of my previous AI Piper Malibu (PA46). (Correction to FSX from MSFS-AI Aircraft Category posted on 12/17/23) This version is designed to be used as a Piper Malibu with a standard 3 blade propeller (Typical of those on older model Malibu's) This new model comes with a new paintkit that has been modified from my previous model, to enlarge the fuselage area and some other details, to give better visual detail in FSX. The CFG has also been modified to give better flight characteristics. A 2048 x 2048 layered PSD paintkit is included, along with PSD files from my included repaints, for those that prefer the larger size file to convert to DDS or wish to make other changes or deletions from the different layers.
