File Description:
Textures for Manfred Jahn's Lockheed L-749A - repainted by Manfred Meyer. You need to download the Lockheed L-749A base pack and update. Use the Lockheed_749_1 model.twa with jetstacks. These textures decipt HI-422 (c/n 2667) used by Aerochago S.A., Dominican Republic from 1983 until 1988 when it was damaged beyond repair in a heavy landing at Santo Domingo.

Qantas Lockheed L-749A "VH-EAF"

File Description: Lockheed L-749A (c/n 2504) "VH-EAF" belonging to Qantas. It was sold by Air India to Qantas in 1951 and named "Horace Brimsmead" after a pinoeer of Australian civil aviation. Based on original textures by Manfred Jahn, this texture set requires the great Lockheed L-749 Constellation Base Pack available in the Avsim file library (lockheed749.zip). Installation instructions are included.

KLM Lockheed C-60A Lodestar

File Description:
Throughout World War Two KLM operated in the Caribbean and South America with a number of Lockheed model 14 Super Electras, with two brand new Lockheed C-60A Lodestars added to its fleet when scheduled services to Miami began on 17 August 1943. On 30 July 1945 Douglas C-53's followed by C-47's began to replace the Lockheed Super Electras and Lodestars. On 1 August 1948 the Lodestars PJ-AKA and PJ-AKB were written from use at Willemstad-Hato. Exactly one year later they were disposed off into the Caribbean Sea. In those days "pollution" and "environmental protection" were almost certainly non-existant expressions.This repaint has been made for both the FS2004 and FSX versions of the Lockheed Lodestar by Milton Shupe & Team (lodestar.zip respectively fsxlodestar.zip). It features KLM Lodestar PJ-AKB. Repaint by Maarten Brouwer.
