| P-47D 334th FS "the Deacon" & "Missouri Kid" |

File Description:
This folder contains two repaints for the Shockwave Wings of Power III P-47D Thunderbolt, representing two aircraft of the 4th FG /334th FS. Included are: 1) 41-6484 QP-L "the Missouri Kid - Sho-Me", the first aircraft assigned to Ralph 'Kid' Hofer. He scored only one P-47 victory, but in a different aircraft. QP-L crashed on 2 december 1943, killing it's pilot, F/O John P. McNabb. 2) 41-6576 QP-J "the Deacon", one of the P-47's flown by Major Howard D. 'Deacon' Hively. He baled out of this P-47 on 15 june 1943 into the Channel, after being shot up by fighters over St.Nazaire. He was picked up by an ASR launch and continued to fly for the 334th FS. Winter 2009 flightplans for Air Uganda (Entebbe - Uganda). Fleet is: 1 McDonnell Douglas 87; 1 Canadair CRJ 200. Air Uganda operates between cities from Uganda (Entebbe), Kenya (Mombasa and Nairobi), Sudan (Juba) and Tanzania (Dar es Salaam and Zanzibar)

Note: The utilization percentage of the MD87 is really low, as in reality. Air Uganda prefers to use the CRJ200 as it is more efficient on fuel needs and operating costs.
Load factor is also better on the CRJ200 (50 seats) than on the MD87 (130 seats).
A second CRJ200 should join the fleet early 2010, which presumably will mean the retreat of the MD87. (They already have 2 other non utilized MD87).

This is the description from the read me:
In the real world, at night, water appears all black. You can't see it from the air unless there is a moon reflection.
To get this effect in fs2004, all water display effects have to be set to minimums. Not any more! Now with Real Night Water,
you no longer have to mess with your diplay settings. The water appears black and there is even waves and moon reflections, just like
in the real world. No more silver glaze over the water at night. It will work with default textures but was designed utilizing
xtra Water by FullThrottleSims/Hector Davila (xtrawater.zip) which is highly recommended and freeware available on this site.

This is repaint of Korean National Airlines Douglas DC-4 of late 1950s.
This colour scheme was used by Korean National Airlines (former National Airline of Korea and Mother company of Korean Air). KNA's DC-4 was first used in International flights to Japan and Hong Kong via Taiwan (Also flew direct routes to Hong Kong from Seoul) from Mid 1950s. After KNA acquired L-749 from Lockheed and most of the International flights were operated by L-749, the DC-4 were used for short haul International flights to Japan and used mainly in High capacity Domestic Routes. The Aircraft, HL-106 operated first trans-pacific flight for KNA to San Francisco. You'll need Jens B. Kristensens's Douglas DC-4 V2 to use this repaint

| Amelia Earhart's 1937 World Flight Commemorative |

File Description:
Here is a set of FS2002 flights to commemorate Amelia Earhart's ill-fated 1937 World Flight. She and Navigator Fred Noonan disappeared on 2 July 1937 on their 2224 nm flight from Lae, New Guinea to Howland Island. They had already completed 19,000 nm. There are two options for flying these flights, a 29-leg version matching Earhart's with leg lengths up to 20 hours or a 107-leg version with an average leg length of one and a half hours. Best to fly this commemorative with the Lockheed Electra L10E, but can be flown by other twin-engine aircraft with less realism. Simple one-step installation. Extensive notes accompany the flight descriptions. Includes scenery for airports not available in FS2002.

| RAF Atcham |

File Description:
Royal Air Force Atcham or more simply RAF Atcham is a former Royal Air Force station located 5.0 miles (8.0 km) east of Shrewsbury, Shropshire, England, on the north eastern boundary of Attingham Park.
Initially built for RAF Fighter Command, during the Second World War its primary use was by the United States Army Air Forces (USAAF) Eighth Air Force. It was mainly the home of the 495th Fighter Training Group, where pilots were trained to fly Republic P-47 Thunderbolts although a few also were trained to fly twin-engined Lockheed P-38 Lightnings for both Eighth and Ninth Air Force units. Atcham continued to see use as a training base until it was returned to the RAF in March 1945.

| USAF T-33A 97th Fighter Interceptor Squadron |

File Description:
Lockheed T-33A Serial# 51-9176 stationed at New Castle AFB, Wilmington DE. 1953-1958. C/C A/1C D.E. Doyle. This aircraft was involved in two in-flight collisions, surviving both. As a result of the second collision, the right wing spar had to be spliced, making it the only "T-Bird" at that time to have that repair done. The aircraft was flown to Edwards AFB to be evaulated. The test pilot was Col. Chuck Yeager. The aircraft was returned to service. This paint was done for Dave Doyle, who was in the back seat during both accidents and the Crew Chief at the time. Quite a history with this bird. Textures only. Tim Conrads T-33 (t-33ppp.zip) required.

Replace those default paint jobs with these new improved ones and if your planes don't look, fly and smell 100% better then you must be de fault. No "it's mine" claims or rules. Do what you want with them.
