File Description: Repaint for the A2A Wings of Power III Spitfire by Jan Kees Blom, based on the paintkit by Martin Catney: Supermarine Spitfire IIa P7981 was damaged in august 1941 in an emergency landing in Yorkshire while flying with 145 sqn and struck off charge. Persistent rumors state that the aircraft was subsequently repaired and used by Prince Bernhard of the Netherlands as his personal aircraft until 1944. As such, it may have looked like this.

P-40 Tomahawk IIB AM392 LD-W "Nux Vomica"

File Description:
Tomahawk MkIIB AM392 of 250 Squadron, flown by Australian pilot Sgt Bob Whittle, Egypt August-October 1941. "Nux Vomica" (deadly poison) was the name given to this aircraft by Sgt Whittle, who used it to shoot down a Me109. The aircraft was later used by the SAAF until it was struck off charge on 1 july 1943. Repaint for the A2A P40 Tomahawk by Jan Kees Blom, using the paintkit by Martin Catney.
