USAF Douglas VC-118 Independence Download

File Description:
USAF Douglas VC-118 INDEPENDENCE Tail-Nr. 46-0505, C/n 42881, of United States Air Force in colors of 1953 as preserved at United States Air Force Museum, Wright-Patterson Air Force Base (WPAFB), Dayton, Ohio, USA. USAAF officials ordered the 29th production DC-6 to be modified as a replacement for the aging VC-54C "Sacred Cow" Presidential aircraft and was nicknamed "Independence" for President Truman's hometown in Missouri. The VC-118 was formally commissioned into the AAF on July 4, 1947. Probably the plane's most historic flight occurred when it carried President Truman to Wake Island in October 1950 to discuss the Korean situation with Gen. Douglas MacArthur. Another essential "Air Force One" for all FS2002 propliner fans. A repaint of Tom Gibson's and Greg Pepper's great DC-6 by Hans Hermann, Virtual Birds Factory

WOP P-51D Gentleman Jim Download

File Description:
The 354th were the first of the Mustang Fighter Groups, but they had been assigned to the Ninth Air Force at a time when the Eighth Air Force needed a long-range fighter. So the 357th was to become the first P-51 Mustang Group in the Eighth Air Force, and also they were to move again. This base was to be home for the rest of the war, Station F-373, Leiston Airfield. P-51D 41-4937 was flown by Capt. Jim Browning and was named ‘Gentleman Jim’. Capt. Browning was an original member of the 357th. He was killed on 9th February 1945 in a mid-air collision with an Me- 262 of KG(J)-54. He was flying Glen Zarnke’s ‘Junior Miss’ at the time. Original textures by WOP repaint by Joe Nageotte

Tatoi Airbase (LGTT) Download

Images related to this file:

File Description:
Tatoi AB is located north of Athens and is the home of the Air Training Comand of the Hellenic Air Force as well as all the Academys for basic training of all officer ranks of aircrew and ground crew for the Air Force. The Air force Museum is also based there with a substantial collection of historical static exhibits. Tatoi is also home of three Aeroclubs, the Athens Aeroclub, the Mesogion Aeroclub and Dekeleia Aeroclub as well as the Athens gliding club.

This addon will substantially revamp the scenery for LGTT as well as move the airport to its correct location. All buildings are custom made to represent the actual ones as closely as possible, based on existing photographs as well as my own experiences of being a member of the Athens Aeroclub and currently training there for my PPL.

South West Airways Douglas C-47 Download

Images related to this file:

File Description:
The airline was established in 1946 as South West Air Transport and started operations in 1948. It operated from Windhoek in South West Africa (Namibia). On 26 March 1959, it merged with Oryx Aviation and became South West Airways (Afrikaans - Swidwes Lugdiens). In 1965 Namib Air became the only owner of South West Airways and both companies merged into Namib Air in 1978. Douglas C-47A-I-DK C/N 11991 started life with the USAAF serial number 42-92214 and then became FL583 with the Royal Air Force. Subsequently it was operated by the SAAF as 6871. Next it went to Aircraft Operating Company before joining South West Airways. ZS-DIW was given the name Windhoek. Textures only. Prior installation of Manfred Jahn's outstanding FS2004 Douglas C-47 Base Pack (c-47_basepack_fs9.zip) is required. Repaint by Andre Reimers.

Air Antilles Douglas DC-3 Download

Images related to this file:

File Description:
This is a repaint of the DC-3 in Air Antilles colors. The freeware DC-3/C-47 v3 by Manfred Jahn is needed for this repaint. Air Antilles was founded in 1954 under the name of Antilles Air Service and began scheduled services in 1957. It was renamed to Air Antilles in 1964. They operated regular services in the Carribean, especially in the French West Indies. They had flights from Pointe-a-Pitre, in Gouadeloupe, to other islands in the region, such as the Leeward Islands, French Antilles, and Montserrat . Their main aircraft was the DC-3. The airline ceased operations in 1978. *I have released this for the many users of FS2004 who enjoy the classic airliners. However, this repaint has not been tested on FS2004, as I don't have that platform. I do believe it should be ok though.

Jazz Aviation - Winter 2018/2019 Download

Images related to this file:

File Description:
Current flight plan of Jazz Aviation for winter 2018/2019. Jazz Aviation, commonly shortened to Jazz, is a Canadian regional airline based at Halifax Stanfield International Airport in Enfield, Nova Scotia, and is a wholly owned subsidiary of Chorus Aviation. Jazz Aviation provides regional and charter airline services in Canada and the United States, primarily under contract to Air Canada using the brand name Air Canada Express, and also as Jazz Charters. It is Canada's third-largest airline in terms of fleet size (but not in terms of passengers carried annually, number of employees, or destinations served). Its Air Canada Express operations serve 79 destinations in Canada and the United States. Under a capacity purchase agreement, Air Canada sets the Jazz route network and flight schedule, and purchases all of Jazz’s seat capacity based on predetermined rates.

FS2004 Buffalo Airways C-GLBA Lockheed L-188 Electra Download

Images related to this file:

File Description:
Textures for Libardo Guzman's Electra model. L-188A Electra c/n 1145 original 1961 delivered to Western AL, 1969 converted to L-188AF freighter and later to Nordic Air and 1973 to Fred Olsen as LN-FOH, leased to Air de Colgne in 1988, sold 1997 to Amerer Air in Austria and 2006 to Buffalo Airways Canada as C-GLBA, wfu and stored since 2012. Aircraft can be found at: https://simviation.com/1/download-file?file=1-ELECTRA.zip&fileId=48728 Attention, the large cargo hatches cannot be opened on the Guzman model! I recommend using Fraser McKay's excellent panel (FML188AP.zip available at Flightsim.com) including the config. and air. files supplied with this panel package. These provide exact aircraft's characteristics and enable certain systems to function correctly, which those provided with the original model may not. Repaint by Manfred Meyer
