Iowa City Municipal Airport (KIOW)

File Description:
TerraModels Scenery Development System by Allen Kriesman was used to create the scenery for Iowa City Municipal Airport (KIOW), Iowa. Biber Salsa models were also used to create this scenery. The taxiways were added using the program by Peter Jacobson. No custom models were created for this scenery. The Iowa City Municipal Airport, opened in 1918, is the oldest airport west of the Mississippi River still in its original location. The very first air mail flights flew through Iowa City, and many of the early pioneers of flight landed here, including Will Rogers, Wiley Post, Charles Lindbergh, and Jack Knight.

File Description: This is the complete version of the scenery of Chios. It includes the photorealistic scenery, a part of HELLENIC ACTUAL SCENERY. Many of the objects were renewed, and the images and textures of the scenery were edited, as well as many airport objects. New navigation lights were installed in the mountain tops of the island. New 3D Taxi lights provide a better feeling of the airport area, combined with the updated night lighting. CIVET5 STAR Missing Intersections

File Description:
This simple update adds intersections in FS2004 that are needed for the CIVET FIVE (CIVET5) STAR arrival into KLAX (Current as of 5-11-06). There are 23 intersections in all including all of the new intersections for ILS 24R and ILS 24L. The STAR charts are included (in PDF Acrobat format which can be found at http://www.adobe.com/downloads/ ).

File Description:
Current procedures (Cycle 0607 Eff 6Jul-2Aug) for Kansas City Intl (KMCI) based on FAA NACO digital terminal procedures. All published procedures encoded including 6-DPs, 4-STARs (all are enumerated based on landing direction; eg, TYGER5.N for landing rnw 1L/1R) and 15-IAPs (ILS, RNAV & VOR/DME). My favorite is ILS 1R where you get SPICY BARBQ RIBBS on arrival.
