This aircraft and texture set is for fun flying. It sports a very unique AVSIM Convention 2006 livery as the specific mascot for the AVSIM Convention in Washington DC in September 2006. Visually a pleasure to fly and has a rather interesting Night Texture effect which should add to your flying pleasure. Be sure to also get the A380 Generic AVSIM Convention aircraft that is available in the AVSIM library. I recommend that you take the opportunity to go to the AVSIM Washington DC Convention as there will be lots of interesting Flight Sim paraphernalia and information available there. | Iowa ANG Northrop F-89J |

File Description:
Textures for the Alphasim F-89J Scorpion depicting an aircraft allocated to the Iowa Air National Guard at Des Moines Iowa. This aircraft 52-1949 was originally built as an F-89D but upgraded to F-89J configuration as were most F-89D's. It was struck off charge in the late'60's and was rescued from the AMARC 'boneyard' in the the late 1970's. It can be still found parked at De Moines Intl. airport, Iowa. Requires the original payware F-89 by Alphasim.
