This folder contains two repaints for the A2A Lockheed L049 Constellation in the colors of 5Y-ABF of Britair. British East Africa Airways was formed by Captain Marian Kozubski in November 1964, formerly owner of Falcon Airways, as a charter company to operate IT charters from Europe to East Africa. One L-049 (G-AHEL) was bought from Euravia and registered 5Y-ABF. It operated every thee weeks on schedules from Rotterdam to Nairobi and Mombasa via Malta staring 20 December 1964. A fleet of four 049's were planned, but the airline suspended operations at the end of the summer of 1965, and only operated that aircraft. 5Y-ABF was finally scrapped in Shannon in 1966. | Lockheed L-049 Constellation (43-10310) USAAF |

File Description:
This folder contains two repaints for the A2A Lockheed L049 Constellation in the first colors of 43-10310 of the USAAF. C/n 1962 was the one of the first C-69's delivered to the USAAF in 1943. It started flying in TWA colors in 1944, but with its military serial. It made a record breaking flight from Burbank to Washington DC on 17 April 1944, with Howard Hughes as pilot. It was allocated to Transcontinental & Western as NC38936, but remained on the USAAF inventory until 1947. It was then used for spares, but rebuilt in 1952 for Intercontinent Airways. It was written off after it caught fire in a belly landing at Burbank during a training flight. Repaint by Jan Kees Blom, based on the paintkit by A2A.

File Description:
This folder contains a repaint for the A2A Lockheed L049 Constellation in the colors of L749 G-ANUR of Euravia. It was built in 1947 with c/n 2565 and was first operated by Qantas as VH-EAB. Qantas sold it to BOAC, who registered it as G-ANUR in 1955. It went to Skyways in 1959, and when Skyways was taken over by Euravia in 1962, it was repainted in 1963 in the colors of this repaint. It went to the US in 1967, becoming N1949 and then to Uruguay as CX-BHC. It was last seen in Montevideo, and is believed to have been scrapped in 1970 after its operator, Aerolineas Uruguayas, went bankrupt. Repaint by Jan Kees Blom, based on the paintkit by A2A.

File Description:
This folder contains a repaint for the A2A Lockheed L049 Constellation in the colors of L749 G-ALAK 'Brentford' of BOAC. It was originally built for TWA (c/n 2548), but went to Airlinte Eirann as EI-ACR in 1947. It was sold to BOAC in 1948, becoming G-ALAK. It was first leased and in 1962 sold to Skyways, which became Euravia in 1963. It was bought by Ace Freighters in 1965. After they went bankrupt, several sales fell through, but in 1968 it was flown to Miami as CP-797 for Trans Bolivian. It then went to Peru as OB-R-899 with Copisa and used until Copisa stopped operations in 1971. It was probably scrapped in Lima. Repaint by Jan Kees Blom, based on the paintkit by A2A.

L-188A Electra c/n 1094 original 1959 delivered to Western AL, 1968 converted to Combi L-188PF and to Intl. Jetair Canada as CF-IJY, then as N405GN from 1977 to 1979, flew for Great Northern in Alaska as part of the development of the North Slope oil fields.

Attention, the large cargo hatches cannot be opened on the Guzman model!
I recommend using Fraser McKay's excellent panel (FML188AP.zip available at Flightsim.com) including the config. and air. files supplied with this panel package. These provide exact aircraft's characteristics and enable certain systems to function correctly, which those provided with the original model may not.
