FSX Scenery--Meigs Field, lake front, Chicago, Illinois (IL), USA. FSX scenery textures for Meigs Field (KMGS) in Chicago IL. This is the much awaited original airport from Flight Sim 2004 that was not added to FSX. The airport is on Lake Michigan near downtown Chicago. Many little extras added like boats, hangars, water plane dock and static aircraft. This airport now inactive in the real world is still greatly missed in the sim world. Created by J.D. Starseed.

File Description:
SBuilder produces almost all type of scenery for FS2004 such as: Mesh Scenery, Land and Water Class Scenery, Standard and High Resolution Photo Scenery, LWM and VTP Scenery, Exclusion Scenery and Object Placement (FS8 and FS9 Library Objects, API and ASD macros and Rwy12 Objects). SBuilder reads default BGL files (LWM and VTP types) and GIS files (lines, polygons and points of interest). It has also some other capacities as Re-Projection of Raster or Vector files.

This scenery upgrades the city of Bethel with a regional hospital w/landable helipad, a few fast food places, sport boat and fishing boat docks and piers and water treatment facitlities. This scenery also upgrades the airport (PABE) with taxiways and airport roads, airport buildings and hangers, aircraft and ground vehicles, a helipad w/start point, people and many eye candies throughout the airport. This version is fully AI ready and includes AFKAD2 file. Rendition of "Cargo Village" includes FedEx, Purolator, Aeroground, DHL, UPS, Air Canada Cargo, Air Canada Jazz as well as the old and new Air Canada Hangars. Also included is Harbour Air's "Flying Beaver" bar and grill and floatbase, with a water starting point. AFKAD2 file includes taxiway and apron modifications to match the scenery. Lots of extra parking and coded spots for cargo planes have been added.

Includes a;ll serving airlines, reigonal terminal, International termina (which is not built if FS2004) correct gate numbers and placement, correct taxiways and new terminal, correct avaition parks down at the bottom, and correct taxiway types. Also features the cargo terminal. This is my most extensive and my biggest AFCAD.
